Get the nitride or SS no blem for same price ($199 shipped!)

Gotta be fast when in stock

Also Bear Creek doesn't recommend using steel cased ammo in their upper, but PSA says you can! A budget build should shoot budget ammo.

Classic Firearms is advertising what looks like the same thing from BCA for $200. However, they make no mention of theirs being blems.

I believe Classic is selling the carbine length while this one is the mid length.

You are correct. I didn't see that. I know some prefer the mid size gas system.

I'm a little worried about a company that sells so much here titled "blem" . Makes me think they are not much on the QC side of manufacturing processes.

They buy left over stuff from other companies and sell them as blems wuth their name on it.

More likely it's their way of putting things on sale without making it the new price point. Other companies do this all the time to sell direct to consumers but not offend their resllers by selling at a lower price than their resellers. I'm looking at you Aero....

The companies can tell their resellers "Hey I'm not undercutting your 1st grade product because I'm just selling blemished stuff". Never mind that 9 out of 10 people can't identify the blemish when it comes (because ther isn't a blemish).

The freedoms are nitride finished and the classic is phosphate. Nitride is better protection from the elements. But...phosphate been used for years, just wipe it down w oil occasionally

Get the classic, it already comes with the BCG and Charging Handle, later if you wish, you can buy a mid-length Magpul MOE handguard if you wish to change it, or invest into a nice bayonet to attach to the bayonet lug for when you run out of bullets of for “Close Encounters of The Deadly Kind”.
