GUYS, I would like your opinion here. I was looking at this one the type F and the Type C 45 acp. I am leaning towards the C but was wondering what one you guys would get and the reason?

It's 1000% personal preference. Right now it's pretty hip to hate on DA/SA guns due to the 2 different trigger pull weights (I think it originally came out of competitions, and then wound up in the self defense preferences for no good reason). I like DA/SA over anything because I have more options with both actions available (the only people I've found that hate on it are wannabe commandos). You can use DA as a safety (such as the PX4 type D), SA with the manual safety (manual safeties are another feature that's cool to hate right now), carry on an empty chamber with safety off as it will be in SA when racked (aka Israeli carry), and you still retain the option for a second strike in DA without having to eject the round. The type C is more like a Glock style imitator (kind've halfway between SA and DA in that it's mostly cocked, but finishes the last bit and releases when you pull the trigger. It almost imitates a half cock on a hammer fired gun, except retains the SA style of racking every time you want to cock it). If you're a fan of a slightly heavier/longer SA-esque trigger that is always the same, type C is for you. If you like your options and can blow off the idiots who like to repeat internet jargon such as "train like you fight" when they don't actually train, go Type F.

When/how'd you get it at that price? I've been searching for the 9MM at a good price. May have to jump on this. Was expecting them to drop it to $350 like the 9MM in "C" and the .40ACP in "D".

The Px4 is available in four models:

Type C: So-called to be Single-action-only ("Constant Action" - hammer is in half-cocked position). Spurless hammer. No decocker. No safety.
Type D: Double-action-only. Spurless hammer. No decocker. No safety.
Type F: Single and double-action. Decocker. Manual safety.
Type G: Single and double-action. Decocker. No manual safety.

Is this price only for law enforcement and military?

Only if you physically go to their store in Las Vegas do you need Military or Law Enforcement ID. I bought this online from South Carolina and had no issues. Awesome full size gun for the price and comes with 3 mags.
