It's 1000% personal preference. Right now it's pretty hip to hate on DA/SA guns due to the 2 different trigger pull weights (I think it originally came out of competitions, and then wound up in the self defense preferences for no good reason). I like DA/SA over anything because I have more options with both actions available (the only people I've found that hate on it are wannabe commandos). You can use DA as a safety (such as the PX4 type D), SA with the manual safety (manual safeties are another feature that's cool to hate right now), carry on an empty chamber with safety off as it will be in SA when racked (aka Israeli carry), and you still retain the option for a second strike in DA without having to eject the round. The type C is more like a Glock style imitator (kind've halfway between SA and DA in that it's mostly cocked, but finishes the last bit and releases when you pull the trigger. It almost imitates a half cock on a hammer fired gun, except retains the SA style of racking every time you want to cock it). If you're a fan of a slightly heavier/longer SA-esque trigger that is always the same, type C is for you. If you like your options and can blow off the idiots who like to repeat internet jargon such as "train like you fight" when they don't actually train, go Type F.
GREAT DEAL, but I'm just wondering why the 40 is $350 and the 45 is $400? not dogging this deal just pointing that out.
Fantastic deal, just ordered mine.
I am having trouble finding the rebate form. Can you guys tell me if this particular model is on the $75 rebate?
Edit: never mind I found it on the other listing.I guess it's good to go
You can alwasy find the rebates info on the Deals info tab.
Had mine on lawaway at buds for $338 for the full size 9mm Inox now with a $75 rebate just over $250 & I have 15 mags I got for next to nothing is the only reason I bought it.
When/how'd you get it at that price? I've been searching for the 9MM at a good price. May have to jump on this. Was expecting them to drop it to $350 like the 9MM in "C" and the .40ACP in "D".
Bud's does crazy prices so 3 months ago I put it on layaway even though I didn't need it I had all these mags then almost missed the 90 days & it was pending cancellation but just hit the dealer friday so the rebate came just in time:)
Bought mine for $425.00 last week. Still no complaints.
Shit bought mine last week for $425.00 should have waited but I thought with the $75.00 rebate they would have been sold out by now.
Bought this with Trijicon night sites for 425.. lol
These folks had if for $435 w/ night sights until a few weeks back. But you would have missed the rebate.
When did you buy it at that price? And where if you don't mind me asking!
Whats the difference between type C and F?
The Px4 is available in four models:
Type C: So-called to be Single-action-only ("Constant Action" - hammer is in half-cocked position). Spurless hammer. No decocker. No safety.
Type D: Double-action-only. Spurless hammer. No decocker. No safety.
Type F: Single and double-action. Decocker. Manual safety.
Type G: Single and double-action. Decocker. No manual safety.
March 1st to April 30th Beretta is offering a $75.00 rebate for PX4 Storms.
Price is good for ALL.
The law enforcement/military requirement is only for visiting our physical location in Las Vegas, NV
Is this price only for law enforcement and military?
Only if you physically go to their store in Las Vegas do you need Military or Law Enforcement ID. I bought this online from South Carolina and had no issues. Awesome full size gun for the price and comes with 3 mags.
Thanks for replying, I placed my order today. This is a-lot of gun for a great price. I reload .45ACP and I just could not pass on this deal. No state sales tax, and free shipping, great reviews.
Dont think so, I've purchased a Beretta 92 from them without issue
GUYS, I would like your opinion here. I was looking at this one the type F and the Type C 45 acp. I am leaning towards the C but was wondering what one you guys would get and the reason?
