Academy does NOT have this gun for this price call before you go
Great deal after rebate. I've had mine for 4 years and it's reliable. Put the technaclip and conceal it. Forget the holster.
Love the nano so much I bought another one
Where did you submit the rebate through?
I had one and really liked it, will own again I'm sure. For revolver guys the trigger is great, long but predictable. I shot a couple hundred rounds and never had a problem. It was very accurate, I think the most accurate gun of it's size I've ever shot. Don't know if that's because I got a "special" one, but I'm more than a little sad I let it go and I might well pick up another when I can. this is less than I paid!
I liked how this gun felt in the hand at the store, but I really just couldn't get into it once I put some ammo through her. Even apart from the fact that it's picky with ammo -- which by itself wouldn't be a huge deal-breaker for me -- I just didn't care for the way it shoots.
Granted, I shot this little guy when she was still selling for $380-400 at most places. And as much as I've like shooting 92s, 96s, and Storms....I just didn't find it worth the price tag. For whatever reason, in my hands I actually find a $240 SCCY pocket pistol to be the better gun (and a full 10 round mag to boot).
Just my opinion. I see 'em every now and then at the range, and I've seen a couple of pink ones with some females that really liked theirs. So maybe this is one of those 'love 'em or leave 'em guns!
Put 200 rounds of 115 grain through this gun yesterday. You do have to be observant while inserting the 8 round magazine into the gun as it will fall back out if it does not "click". That may sound obvious, but it takes a significant amount of pressure for it to engage. Long and heavy trigger pull, the gun is DA only. Gun will stove pipe and feed improperly if shot with a limp wrist. This is common in some handguns but clearing these malfunctions is pretty difficult without a slide release.
Wouldn't recommend it for a first time handgun owner. It can work for those with a little more experience who want a very small and thin 9mm that won't hang up on clothing.
My experience...I have one with about 300 rounds. I've shot mostly 115 gr with 2 failures. I've read from multiple sources that it functions best with 124 gr, it seemed to shoot 15ish rounds of 124gr federal hst fine (I know, small sample size.)
I would say the trigger is stiff but not too long, but this is coming from a Sig p250. I dont mind the trigger overall, infact i almot prefer a stiff trigger for a ccw gun that could be carried in a pocket holster.
It needs more break in time especially with 124gr but overall im satisfied with the gun. Not many great 9mm options in this class.
Coincidentally, I have a Nano too. Over 1500 rounds with no complaints... Brownell's has your replacement pin for $3.99.
I have this gun. Magazine button polymer pin broke after 90 rounds. Magazine would fall right off.
My 8 round magazine falls out. That's on top of the double feeds and failures to extract that plagued it earlier on with the 6 round magazine also.
The Nano was my first gun I ever had to have serviced.
I tried adding to cart but still does not give discounts or free shipping what the deal man!!
