The Beretta 71 is a favorite handgun throughout the world. This includes the Mossad (Intelligence & Special Ops) and other Israeli departments due to its reliability, low weight, and slim profile. This pistol features a permanently attached 3.5" barrel with faux suppressor, drift adjustable rear sight and 8 round magazine. Barrel: 3.5", Overall: 12.25", Weight: 2.05 lb. Condition: Very Good.

Just called them. He said they have some in stock and no they are not C&R eligible. Too bad as I would have picked one up if they were. Still they have the best price when looking online for those that are still interested. Buds wants $291 cash price.
Yes, these are late 60's to mid 70's or so. Mine was 1975. Not old enough for C&R, unfortunately. I'd buy a bunch instead of just one if they were.
I got mine from Tanners, but from GunBroker, because they posted actual photos and I could pick exactly the gun I wanted. Mine came with a lanyard ring. I haven't seen many with one of those.
Also here is a thread about how you can remove the fake silencer. Looks like it takes about an hour with minimal work. The fake silencers are added for import restrictions to classify them as "target" pistols.

Is this really C&R eligible? I saw nothing from the Facebook post at the link that suggested they would accept a C&R FFL for this. And the Facebook post was almost a month ago. Are they still available?
I'm interested, but not if I have to use a regular FFL.
I'm a little confused. So are these actually the Barrettas?you click the take me to the store link, and the read the description, says it is century arms patterned after the beretta.
