The ARX100 was engineered with one purpose in mind: to be today’s best tactical semiauto rifle. It takes the concept of a modular rifle to futuristic levels, while maintaining an absolutely simple operation that make it ultra-reliable. With ambidextrous controls, easily-replaceable barrel and virtually endless possibilities for customization and accessorization, the ARX100 is adaptable to any firing scenario and is perfect for today’s most demanding tactical shooter.

This rifle was designed to be completely ambidextrous, and all the critical controls on it may be operated right- or left-handed. These include the 2-position safety, the magazine release, the bolt release and charging handle and the case-ejection selector, which determines whether spent brass is ejected to the right or left. The flip-up backup sights that come standard on the ARX100 are also versatile, offering an easily-adjustable diopter system ranged from 100 to 800 yards. The barrel is also easily replaceable in seconds, making is possible to use different lengths and calibers without any tools required. Lastly, the folding stock is adjustable for length of pull at the touch of a button, using a simple and rugged telescopic construction.

The possibilities for accessorization on the ARX100 are limited only by the user’s imagination. It comes out of the box with a full-length Picatinny rail on top, which is perfect for attaching a variety of optics and other sighting systems. It also has Picatinny rails on both sides of and under the fore-end, which offer countless possibilities for easily adding lighting systems and other tactical devices.

Regarding their 50% cancellation fee... I wrote to them asking a few questions about FFL transfer on this SBR and they told me that it was NOT in-stock, despite them advertising it here and on their website. Which leads me to believe that they may string you along and actually hope that you cancel your order. Kind of shady.

There will be a 50% restocking fee if you cancel your order.
Must be really hard to place that gun from the HOLD bin to the stock shelf. What a rip-off. 15% MAYBE.

I should have listened to all the negative feedback on the internet. I ordered an SBR from these people, and after 24 days I got an email saying my order was cancelled. Supposedly the item is out of stock. Keep in mind they have advertised this item for sale for the entire 3 week period I've been waiting on it to ship. I don't know how this place stays in business.

Don't buy a NFA item from them. I bought a silencer from them a long time ago. They did not ship the item to my dealer. After several months, and multiple unanswered phone calls/emails, I ended up getting my money back via filling claim at my credit card company. Saying that, for non-NFA items that I had bought from them before, I never had any issue.

Lots of claim to have delays from botach. I’ve never had anything from take more than two weeks to reach my FFL.
Regarding the ARX100, really dig mine. I also have have left handlers in my household, so it goes to the range every trip. I see the bulk as marginal and I pulled the rail cover and added a stubby grip. If you’ve got small hands or only want to try and C clamp it , maybe then I’d avoid it. I wish I could find an ARX160 some where, And/ or this short barreled model with a brace.

Scam. They strung me along for 4 months and never sent the gun to my ffl. Never order from botach

Why won't they just put a damn brace on these? It checks all my boxes (firing while folded, perfect truck gun, ugly as sin), but I don't want a friggin SBR.

Amen! Avoid the SBR hassle and just get it classified as a pistol (probably ugliest one in history but it might help them finally empty the warehouse).

The gun is super nice. But the seller is one of the worse I have ever had experience buying from.

I own a lot of rifles and many AR’s. I really love my ARX however the one thing I do not like about it is the flip sights that are already installed are way too high for my taste. I did some tweaking and I am happy with it. Was worth the $900 I spent on it.

I’m confused as to why so many people bash the ARX, at launch sure it was over priced, but at the prices they are now, how can you beat them. $800 for an ambidextrous piston AR, that can fire with the stock folded. What can beat that at this price point?

Cause, well, it's not an ar. You're talking about a polymer piston driven 556. By design it has minimal similarities other than that shit A2 hanguard that can't be replaced. AR made it's name on being able to be made customized, this is a nato ak, minus the positive of being ak.

Semantics. Just saying compare the features of this rifle to another rifle platform with the same features, and it’s a pretty good value.

Semantics? It shares the mag, the barrel, and grip, and it's a terrible design choice to copy the a2. The option of a proprietary only folding stock only was also a poor choice. Stock 556's are generically not perfect, and I'm much more likely to spend $300 on upgrades that make a decent platform great, rather than let someone else do it for me. If you're a lefty in need of a plastic ARish rifle I guess it's a good value, have fun eating that tax stamp.

A needlessly bulky,plastic laden flop.

No reason for it to be that big.

If your goal is to have what sells or the very best, then an AR15 or AK47 is likely all that you need. However, I like to collect the semiauto versions of as many different military style rifles as I can. Many of them are market flops, but they typically have interesting histories and features. For example, the ARX100 is much more lefty friendly than the AR15.

Can't see buying an extra 556 platform just because it is lefty friendly. There are more out there that don't come at the price of this one's bulk.

This is my favorite gun in call of duty, and probably the best gun to own when your trying to let everyone know on facebook and Ig that you dont get laid and possibly have relationship issues.

For the money, I'd rather build a really nice AR-15 pistol with a folding brace, or SB Tactical collapsible brace. It would end up costing at least $200 less depending on the parts. YMMV

You would think they would discount a little more if they cant sell at this price... the price its been forever.

It’s now one of my favorite rifles.

Keep in mind these don't work with polymer type magazines like Magpul. Kind of a shitty feature I discovered after buying mine.

As I recall - it took a few weeks to receive mine. I know I had read some horror stories from people and their Botach experience but I didn't see it. I did contact them while waiting and was told my order was in "Processing" status; which wasn't explained to me what that meant. I'm assuming these shipped from another location.

I got mine at $1150 shipped and it's the rifle version. I would have gone with this in an SBR at this price since it nullifies the transfer tax. The barrel is light and long in the rifle version and think this looks much better in SBR.

Works great with gen2 p mags not gen 3 because of the mag stop bump on the back of the mag.

Is the 90 day wait the SBR botach to FFL transfer? Or do they have to get it from the manufacturer first (~90) then get a approve to transfer to the FFL (~90 day)? Then you have to wait a year for your form 1?

My ARX100 SBR from Botach was delivered to my dealer today. The total time was about a month. Great deal for $900 delivered (+$200 for stamp + $50 for transfer).

I think they're generally trying to cover the ATF's approval time for dealer to dealer (Form 3) transactions with the 90 day wait time. They took about two weeks to get mine approved and a shipping label created. Mine has not arrived yet, but I asked for the rifle's serial number and they provided it. After the SBR arrives at your FFL/SOT dealer, you have to wait for a Form 4 (dealer to individual) to be approved by the ATF. Right now that's about six months. Fortunately, my dealer has a range so I can shoot it while I wait.

Form 1 is for making a new one. Form 4 is for transfers of existing ones, like this.

This company is famous for "presales" and long wait times, often resulting in slow refunds months later. It's my belief when this company is needing Capitol funds for operating this is their way of getting those funds. Basically "borrowing" from customers without any payment of interest. ...poor business ethics.

I asked two dealers I know to check on he time to get this. One told me less then a week the other told me he checked and less then two weeks. So what gives with ninety days.

You must say that about all NFA purchases. All dealers must wait until the ATF approves the transfer of the firearm to your dealer.

Dealt with botach in the past and will never do it again! Returned a plate carrier that in their flyer said it came with 2 plates which it didn't. And I had to pay the return shipping! Stay away from botach.

Read the fine print of the gift cards before buying. Apparently you cannot use the gift card for firearms or ammunition anymore. What a load of crap.
