  • Good gun and 4 mags for $289 after rebate is a smoking food deal. It’s definitely chunkier and a bit heavier than a G17, but shoots nice and flat. Good HD pistol that I trust. Trigger is fine—a little better than a Glock. Only cons: — optic plate has to be ordered and isn’t very low (meaning you’d need taller sights). — limited aftermarket support.

  • IMHO, this is the best gun under $600 yet it's more like $370 after rebate. It has better than average trigger and fits well in the hand. Have not had any jams. Getting used to RDO after years of iron sights. Going to use this as my IDPA gun. Have not had any mechanical issues. Only quiblle is that the the takedown is not as simple as others but still not bad.

Bass Pro/Cabelas has it on sale for $399.99. No transfer fee if you live near one. Take off $100 mail-in rebate and the price goes down to $299.99. The rebate is good for the APX A1 full size and APX A1 Tactical, expires December 31st 2023.

As much as I like the changes they made to the A1 compared to the original, the trigger is still SO MUSHY compared to other options. The Canik TP9 has an outstanding trigger for comparable money.

The Gen 1 and Gen 2 are both great guns. These things went through some serious torture testing for one of Berettas overseas military contracts. If you're on the fence about this one, it's going to be one of the most reliable guns you can own for self defense. If you're just looking for a range toy, get whatever you think looks fun. But for protecting your fam.... This is seriously one of the best 9mm's made to date

Picked one up last week. Nice stock trigger. Good shooter. Only two complaints: stripped optic mount cover plate screws trying to remove them.

Doesn't come with any optic plates.Need to purchase separately $20 to $50 :(

You’ll be hard pressed to find any OR pistol other than Canik include optic plates with the gun.

Arex delta gen 2 comes with 5 plates for the vast majority of red dots you’d ever wanna put on a pistol

You mean other than Glock MOS, Walther PDP OR, RIASTK100, and S&W M&P, or Taurus TX22 Comp that either come with multiple plates or offer a free one on request.

Even Optic Ready Sig Sauers are cut for RomeoZeros out of the box.

I'm not not even sure where your answer came from. It's harder to find an optic ready handgun that _doesn't _ offer a free mounting option.

Learn how to read. The APX included in the box optic PLATES for all popular reddot footprints. Why are you bringing up offering 1 free plate or being cut for one specific optic? Make it make sense.

I guess I’m the only one that likes the old version better. Also this is almost $100 more than V1 w/o rdo. I personally don’t think rdo is worth $100. That being said, if this was $50 to $75 less I’d be interested in adding a second apx to my collection.

These new ones look so much better than the old APX pistols, which were great too, but they were just so off-putting with how they looked. You would think that Beretta could have designed a better looking gun, but this is definitely a step in the right direction.

This new model is such a better pistol than the last model APX's. Thank God they got rid of that butt ugly, super ragged slide grip cuts. Some of the worst details of the last model have been upgraded and now you have a great option for a budget pistol from Beretta

At $397.78, this is the best bang for your buck 9mm right now. The APX is probably the most underrated 9mm of all time. I don't know why more people don't buy it. It's optic ready, super accurate, and it's made by Beretta. I own Sigs, H&Ks, FNs, and this is among one of the best 9mms out there. Buy it.

Great pistols but their heavier and the slides are wider than a lot of others.

Does the $100 mail in rebait work for the APX Full Size? The Beretta website states APX Carry, not Full Size. Thanks

I think only the carry qualifies for the rebate. To be sure, I'd give Beretta a call and ask them; 1 (800) 237-3882

Beretta’s aftermarket support is pretty weak for a company their size. For the APX, just like the PX4, might be a great gun but 45 out of 50 holster makers that you can get a modern holster configuration for your P320, G19, 1911, 2011, P10C, etc, don’t support them and barely support the 92 series. That and some other support shortages are the very reason I tend to not indulge in them.

There are dozens of holsters makers offer holsters for the APX. You are mistaken and misinformed.

If that’s a big deal for you, great. But unless I’m a cop or plan to open carry (something I’ll likely never do), the lack of aftermarket holster options aren’t a deal breaker for me, especially on a full-size handgun.

It's been years since I bought aftermarket holsters - I shoot lefty, normally have a light and a Red Dot and/or a comp so I've always have had fewer options. Even _Glock_ aftermarket holster support for my requirements were few. Other than my Omnivores I gave up buying off the shelf years ago. I've paid the extra money and get exactly what I want. reassured that it will be as comfortable/secure (and available) as I need. I wasted $$$ on all types of holsters prior to having mine made.s Buy once, cry once. I highly recommend ths philosophy, especially with firearms.
