Taking the proven reliability of the venerable M9 Family to the next level, the Beretta® 92X Full-Size Semi-Auto Pistol delivers the performance that modern shooters demand. Offering shooters a high performing, do-it-all pistol, the 92X features the same short recoil, delayed blowback system as the battle-proven M9 for reliable cycling you can count on. Made of an extremely strong, lightweight, forged aircraft-quality aluminum alloy, the 92X's versatile Vertec-profile frame is built to fit a majority of shooters right out of the box. Featuring a more vertical grip angle modeled after the 1911, the 92X's frame features a straight backstrap and comes with thin, Vertec-style grip panels or more traditional, heavily-checkered, wraparound polymer grip panels. Covered with an easily convertible, universal-design, top slide, the gun's 4.7" barrel features a recessed target crown and corrosion-resistant chrome lining. A built-in 3-slot Picatinny rail in front of the round trigger guard makes it easy for you to add your preferred tactical light, laser, or other accessory. High visibility sights combine a high-visibility orange front sight on a Vertec dovetail with blacked-out combat rears. The 92X's oversized steel magazine release and the generously beveled magazine well make reloading fast and simple when seconds count. Low-maintenance design includes a Gen 3 locking block on the barrel and intuitive tool-free disassembly for easy field stripping. A Bruniton™ non-reflective black coating provides superior corrosion and wear resistance.

I bought this because the price was right on May 14th and called last week when it was supposed to be delivered on the 27th. The guy on the phone at the store was helpful and checked but no delivery. I checked my order status today 6-3-20 and find that its been canceled with no notification. To say this is very poor customer service on Cabela's part is an understatement. Very disappointed. Get your act together.

Had this happen several times recently. No phone call, no email, just canceled. Then they relist the items as in stock. This sucks if you use a gift card, they will say they put the money back on the old card...that you probably threw away. You have to make them give you a new gift card with your money! They have went from very good customer service to absolute garbage in short order.

For $429. Couldn’t be happier with my 92FS, next one will be 92X Performance.

Picked up the Centurion model the first day of the rebate period that ended in March. Got the rebate in yesterday. It has pretty much all the features that most people want (except maybe a red dot cut and/or night sights). I have a 92A1 that's tuned up a little and the 92X is as good out of the box. No plastic parts to replace. Three 17rd mags, fairly aggressive grip texture.

At this point, I would rather spend the extra $100 and get the A3 or an extra $200 and get an Elite LTT.

Beretta rested on their military contract laurels too long (just like Colt) and the rest of the pistol world passed them by. Took them decades to figure out people want to switch front sights. Also, their hex grip screws are absolute garbage.
