They jacked up the price again. Now is 370$ not including shipping and FFL. Welp won't be getting one any time soon I see
Priced at $339 on 9/15/20
Extra mags can be fabricated
Extra Mags can be bought from Beretta
Taurus PT92 mags have the proper cutout so they work great in the 92S
Properly maintained this could be a battle weapon.
After tax, shipping and FFL it's closer to $400. I'd love to have one, but not worth it at that price.
I got one from Gander Outdoors. I was able to see it as some bluing wear, but looked unfired. The aluminum frame had 2 major scratches. Shoots well. Magwell and mag were prestine. some surface rust. expected from a 40 year old gun.
I feel not being able to see the gun and feeling the wear is the reason I would not buy from PSA. I had to see it to determine if 329 was worth it. This price would turn me off sight unseen.
A few things to note for anyone considering this. Yes, there are better newer guns for the same price. Its an old Beretta, its neat, I don't feel like owning nothing but Glocks and TP9 variants. I bought it when they were a bit cheaper and it shoots great and looks fantastic with some wood grips.
Compatible mags are easy to find but not as cheap. Beretta still makes a SKU with the cutout for around $30 on their site but they run sales a few times a year. Official Taurus PT92 mags also have the cutout and work. I grabbed a 17 rounder from my LGS and it works fine. It seems all of Promag's 92 line have the cut and I've had no issues with them. I haven't seen any other mags that work, at least new. You might have better luck on GB.
The recoil spring on mine was well worn and needed replacement, while I was at it I replaced the hammer spring with the D model to lighten the DA pull a bit. The sights don't bug me but I also mostly own older stuff. They are small and the paint is long gone and I would recommend touching them up, it does help.
These look as rough as the ones I bought from Classic Con 2 years ago for $225. Unless you collect 92's, I would pass at this price! For $140 more for a new 92,
1) 1 yr warranty or 3 yr if you register with Beretta
2) 2 extra mags
3) Replaceable front and rear sights
4) Ambi Safety/de-cock
5) Integral Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 rail situated under the barrel
6) Easy to find replacement parts and or upgrades
7) NEW Barrel & springs
8) No Heal Mag Release!
Have two of these. They are nice. Don't knock the heel release there is a good rationale for having there. You can't accidentally drop a mag.
Wondering if anyone here has actually looked at or has one of these. I do. But it was $259 when I got it from another vendor last year. You are bashing something you know zero about. It's from a different time so it's not going to be a friggin glock/canik/M&P or even a modern Beretta 92. It's EUROPEAN spec. and to whine because of some of its features being different from your (insert your pistol here) is, well, ...... To bash its quality without having any experience with them is, again, ...... Don't like it's design/features but want a Beretta 92 then get a modern one. I've seen them here time to time for less than $450. The 92s I have compares exactly with the two/three others I've had experience with. Light wear on the edges of the slide (bluing), light flecking/wear on the frame finish, a little patina on the safety lever. Internally the only wear I've seen is cosmetic also. The slide and controls are as smooth as glass. Typical heavy DA trigger pull. Good SA pull. But smooth. As accurate as the modern ones. The hardest knock on this model is the tiny sights. Since you know this when you buy it then no reason to whine about it. The heel mag. release is actually something different and one reason I got one. Obviously every surplus pistol isn't going to be in great shape. It's up to you to find what you want. I don't want 20 of the same model of a Glock or any other pistol. Also, Beretta still sells mags for this model. It fits well in my Beretta collection. The single stack version is next if I find a clean one for a decent price.
Either way better give it a good disinfecting before use.
Feels good the the hand, looks cool, hate the trigger and the sights, would much rather have a canik tp9sf for the same price
Where can I get the canik for that price?
Please stop posting this crap every day!
$299 and free shipping -- then I'd be in.
Notice they don't show the "left" side image.
That would be where the mag release is supposed to be....but it's not.
It's on the heel of the grip.
Yea, drop the mag in under 30 minutes.....with practice.
uneducated, untrained couch commando, idiot! Such an ignorant comment. You truly made yourself look like an ass.....
If you bothered to go to the page there's clearly a left side picture. They're old and european, so it's no big surprise they have an old european mag release. If it takes you 30 minutes to push a button you probably shouldn't own a firearm.
obviously sarcasm defeats your comprehension level.
what jackass gave the thumbs-up for this crap, really palmettostate can you find any worse garbage for this outrageous price, what year are these, 1975!! thanks for ripping off customers! !!
