The Beretta 1301 Tactical is a gas operated semi-automatic shotgun designed for law enforcement and home defense. Right out of the box, the 1301 Tactical features an oversized charging handle, large textured bolt release, and an oversized reversible safety button. The integrated BLINK gas operating system, featuring a cross tube gas piston, allows the 1301 tactical to cycle 36% faster than any other shotgun on the market. Available in an 18.5" barrel configuration, the 1301 Tactical features a robust, protected sighting system that uses a ghost ring for the rear sight and an interchangeable front blade sight. The receiver offers a MIL-STD 1913 picatinny rail. The Stock features an aggressive checkering pattern and length of pull is adjustable with the provided spacers. Drop and Cast can be adjusted as well.

I have one shoots really clean super light great gun put a extension on the feed tube love it
Ah, brings back memories. I had a 1201FP back in the late 90's/early2000's... Wonder if this "blink" gas-system is an improvement? As I recall the 1201 was bit finicky with 12g ammo, only liked really hot stuff.
I have two of the 1301's. They are awesome with walmart ammo. (except winchester, but even my 1100 doesn't like winchester).
No place to mount a light on a "Tactical shotgun".

$145 but gets you 3 more shells and somewhere to mount a few items.
The manufacturer suggests that the operator hold the light in his/her teeth to reduce perceived recoil.
Bought one of these and finally had the chance to shoot it this week.
Everything from dove loads to super hot slugs cycled perfectly. The gun is super light, but recoil wasn't "too" bad. The slugs were stout, but that's normal. The action on this thing is super smooth! I was debating between this and the Molot Vepr. Picked this due to not wanting to deal with magazines and I'm glad I did.
