Received this firearm just after Christmas. Quick delivery from Classic. Gun arrived in perfect condition. This is my first AR but 4th 7.62x39 weapon. I didn't pay enough attention to the ad so didn't know there would not be a rear site included so I temporarily put one of my scopes on after buying a riser.

I've shot about 6 different brands of ammo thru it now. The only FTF I have had is with Golden Tiger, firing only 50% out of 10 rounds. Luckily I only have one box of it. Monarch steel fired 100%, Barnaul steel 100% and 100% with the brass brands I tried (PPU, Herter's) and 100% on Yugo nonreloadable brass. These were only 10 round tries. I have not yet tried any Wolf or Norinco or Bear.

Very pleased with the price, appearance, and quality of this AR, I just need to get used to the platform after being used to SKS, AK, and Mini30. I haven't been able to find any mags for it yet, seems like they are out of stock everywhere except in plastic which I won't touch at any price. I can't really comment on accuracy. I'm a plinker and not a match shooter. It hit all the cans and concrete blocks I aimed at, and that's all I care about.

Anderson makes the best lovers I'm guessing you think Spike's Tactical is the greatest thing ever it's overpriced piece of s*** that refuses to eat steel case ammo my Anderson lower with my Bear Creek Arsenal ever eat Steelcase all day long so don't know what you're talking about but obviously you by your AR instead of building them Bear Creek Arsenal also uses heavy were still in their Barrel so when they heat up they hold tighter groups try that with your Bravo Company overpriced b******* or Colt or Spikes lol

Lol

Bear Creek 762x39 Upper Receiver was pure junk. No name receiver was poor quality, delta ring was scratched and dented, barrel was scratched along both sides. Had black, green and gray colored parts on the upper.
Classic is a disreputable company in my opinion who becomes very hateful when you want to return something.
If you buy something on their sale be aware your likely to receive junk.
Buyer beware.

Classic is pure shit, the have no integrity whatsoever. They will not allow most negative reviews They had created some items and kits for the M77's they sold that would not fit the gun, they would not allow you to return then though they had already been notified they did not work on most of the M77's. When those of us who lost over a hundred bucks on this little POS they created and sold tried to leave review to warn people that it would not work on most of the guns, they would not approve them. They deleted posts on their Youtube channel where people tried warning others as well.

I had ordered a few various rifles from them before this, they had well over a grand of my money already so they had my info. After the first time I came here and posted a warning to people to avoid buying anything from these people, they could see who I was and started sending loads of spam to their website. No integrity, dishonest to the core.

How did it FUNCTION? I personally I'm not too worried about aesthetics when it comes to the cheapest 7.62x39 upper on the planet. Funny you left out the important stuff...

Or an ar10

An AR-10 is 7.62x51 (or .308 Winchester) where as this is 7.62x39. Same diameter projectile but a completely different round. The 7.62x51 is much more powerful.

No, you’d be much better off with one of those Century Arms piece of shit ARs you’re always shilling for on here. Because who cares how well a weapon functions as long as it’s “fantastic looking”, right?

Careful now, he has a "security company."

Mine eats steel case all day it goes bang ever time I trust my life to it I bet u would say Glock is better then sigs or that spikes Tactical is better then Anderson Manufacturing for that a Aero Precision lower and PSA is somehow better than Anderson Manufacturing .... I highly doubt that you own any Bear Creek Arsenal I have a Rock River AR junk ... The Colt I got is junk .... The only reliable AR I have in my Anderson and my Bca what the super Glock Fanboys and Colt AR Fanboys won't tell you is that Bear Creek Arsenal uses heavier Steel in their barrels so when they heat up and hold tight Groups educate yourself on AR-15 before you go talking s***and what is good and what is not good

YES. It is an AR 15, the only difference is that it shoots the 7.62 x39 round.

So to do that, the barrel is chambered for that round and the bolt is sized to fit and you need the AR magazine that is designed for 7.62x39. I suggest C products defense mags.

That's the nice thing about AR15s is their so customizable!

Update. Have tested this with 10+ different varieties of ammo in the last two weeks.Tula, wolf, Winchester, Red Army standard, and now golden tiger Today! Some hp. Some heavy some standard.

I had to change my scope a little bit for the Winchester because it shot low. The golden tiger shot higher than the rest of them. I re-sighited in with golden tiger and it seems the most accurate. Sgammo says GT is not recommended for AR users because of possible firing pin issues but I found it to not be an issue at all in fact all the steel ammo I run has ran flawlessly. I've never loaded up that 30 round clip more than once because I don't like blasting my money away quickly but I have bought a CPD and ASC 5 and 10 round magazine and they work great. No failures... Looks like I'm going to be in for a thousand rounds of GT for 199 now....

Glad it worked out for you. $400 is a hell of a price. If I didn't have 10K of .223 and no 7.62, I would grab this in a few weeks. Hell, I might grab a pair of them anyway. Thanks for the info on the ammo. That is always good to know. It saves us a lot of time and $.

i have done my research on bear creek as well. if you do end up having firing pin issues with steel ammo they will actually send you a new firing pin.

I bought an upper chambered in 7.62x39 amd have had issues with steel case light strikes. I changed the pin and spring worked great for a about 100 rounds. After the 100 the light strikes returned, I will contact them when I return home for a replacement pin, also I recommend antiwalk pins as this beast will rattle the pins a bit. Great weapon 1 inch groups at 150yards.

Think that's dirt cheap go to their store......you can easily build an AR both 7.62 and 5.56 at under $350 ffl fees shipping and all I've already stocked up

Everyone should shoot 7.62x39. Since I shoot my sks iron sight out to 1moa at 50yards. I love this ammo. I had the complete upper for $210 bca shipped. And $120 complete lower A3 Anderson. And 2 cdp mags for $42

Just got it today! Love it. Looks quality! They test fired the fudge out of it! Using Steel Ammo! Came with 3 emptys and man that barrel is filthy!!! Must have shot more than 3 lol.

I compared it to my Ruger Ar-556 and it has a few "lower quality" pieces but nothing important! Nice black rifle! Local gun shop sells 100 rounds (steel) for $20 after tax.. $24 for 100 reloaded brass. Picked up 600 today!!!

E3 arms multi Cal lower BCA UPPER AND BCG . I got everything on sale and it cost me 350 bucks to build and it shots like a champ personally I would buy anything from BCA THEN PSA.

I got a few of those as well. Can't beat $99 for complete lowers. Now to buy some more complete uppers at $200 each. My ffl only charges me $10 so I'm building these things at $330 each in all calibers.........I'm going to need another safe lol

I don't have this particular rifle but I do have a PSA built "AR 47" and I love it. I say if you're a fan of the AR platform and of the 7.62x39 round I say go for it. My two recommendations are an enhanced firing pin and a muzzle brake. I have a Midwest Industries 7.62 brake on mine and it works great.

So for those interested in this platform, yes you can build one for about $50-$70 dollars cheaper if you want which is good to gain better knowledge of the platform and yes they should go down on the price based on other places prices dropping, but are you willing to wait? If the below paragraph is intriguing then I encourage you to pull the trigger on a deal, so you can start getting trigger time in because the season is about to begin!

The 7.62x39 is one of the best bang for your buck round. A lot of states WON'T let you hunt deer with the 5.56, but 7.62x39 you can! If your wanting a carbine to get through the brush/mountains you will probably be shooting within 150yd., this round can do that! Also ONE of the best ways to get you and your Ar15 platform clocking hours is trekking through the woods and get real life experience! Which is good cause a lot of us plan on using that platform in our weapons systems to protect our family and survive with! More hours on that intended platform the better! You probably can tell this is one of my favorite rounds by my user name for such reasons.

So Yes there are better rounds, but not for that price!

If you know of a cartridge that i can buy off the shelf easily, and a soft point I can get in the woods and hunt deer with for 22cents! PLEASE let me know!

A lot of barrels are not chrome lined, and just because it's not doesn't mean its going to jam after 50 rnds or so. Bear Creek has suggested not to use steel case ammo, while a lot of other manufacturers say it's ok! And that's ONE of the reasons to get a 7.62x39, is to shoot cheap steel ammo!
As another person committed on you could find the uppers for $199,shipping extra. If you Didn't want to build a lower , there's a company that sells a complete lower on here for $109 shipped, that isn't a polymer lower! You just push two pins together get a couple C products defense mags and your ready to rock!!!

Just make sure to stick with CPD mags. 28 rounders are suppose to fit traditional 30round 5.56 Mag pockets.

Hi, i heard ar-15s without a chrome barrel tend to jam after 50 or so rounds due to build up, without a chrome barrel... how does this one hold up? Thanks!

I have many 5.56 AR-15 rifles but no 7.62. Any feedback before I jump on this? Don"t know much about these or Bear Creak
