Do not patronize Bear Creek- they use illegals in their production facilities.

Might bite if it was SS or Nitride, seems like all the 9mm AR stuff runs on the short side.. 16in speaks to me.

Nice price. Wish it was 1/2x28 thread though

Good catch! I did read that the reason 9mm barrels for AR platform uses the 1/2x34 thread pattern to stop people from accidently affixing a 556 device which could get someone really hurt if they tried shooting a 9mm round through it. It was confusing at first because I was certain my 9mm pistol had 1/2x28 which is what I would have expected for the rifle barrel too.

My urge is too strong put together another AR-9 Upper. My all in cost with this barrel, BCG, CH, Hand guard, upper, UPK falls in at $255. Can't wait to put it together and test it out!

Is there any guidance available on building an AR-9, specifically a glock pattern AR-9? I've built AR-15's, but haven't tried an AR-9 yet. Thinking this might be the first piece of a new build. Tnx.

WBuhrman, Putting an AR9 stripped lower is actually easier then putting an AR-15 Lower together. There are less parts to install. The upper is essier than putting together an AR-15 upper because there's no gas tube or gas block since 9 mm AR15s are direct blowback. Just purchase a Glock pattern 9mm stripped lower, a 9 mm BCG and the other relevant parts and get to assembling.
