This is made in China and not certified. Botach is notorious for bending the truth. Before you decide to buy anything check out their online reviews and open BBB cases. They are a garbage company with poor customer service. They often sell items not in stock.

Botach bought the boots with a discount price with the agreement that it's a cut off deal, Maelstrom does not offer any warranty.
But Botach doesn't disclosure this.
In two months, just a few times using, one boot is broken. Botach told me they only offer 15days return or exchange, and asked me to contact manufacturer.
Shitty business.

You've got a legitimate reason to be pissed but, that said, that sounds as shitty on the manufacturer's side as on Botach's side. Specially if the boots fell apart in a couple of months and it's the manufacturer refusing to warranty their own products.
