Botach sent me a 2 year old one and a 1 month old one as a set in a carrier kit as new, what a terrible company. Customer service was rude and incompetent.

Opinion. Not an expert.
The video on the product page shows the panel holding up well to various calibers it is rated to stop. I suppose this would be for someone who can't afford something more expensive. The chances of needing it are tiny but having something is better than nothing.

These are shit everyone, check YouTube. Same ones. Cheap materials and poor quality. But go ahead and buy inferior quality to make u think ur kids are safe and help you sleep better at night (sarcasm). Get better plates and teach kids not to be mental fucking nut jobs and we wouldn’t need shit like this in kids back packs.

The problem is you cannot teach someone else's kid not to be a "mental fucking nut job."

Would love to see these in adult male or backpack panel sizes [11x13" shooter's cut; 11x14" rect] at that price. Just don't need any panels for wimmenz & teenz in my household... :-\

I assume it's $50 per plate. The description is a bit vague as they switch between singular and plural nouns.

Don't think I will be betting my life on something that costs $50.

No thanks.

Well, they are Level IIIA bulletproof level ;). But I am sure some idiot will argue with you about their effectiveness and or purpose...oh, I see someone already has. Spending $50 on this would be like cop spending $175 on his side-arm. Not a wise choice.

Oh look, another post you stalked me on....its really sad your life is this empty. I guess life is hard on that ship....or was it an air base in Alaska that you claim to work at this week? What next, an oil rig on planet X? LOL.

Notice, I actually mentioned something product related before you barged in? Something you have never been accused of. That is the difference between a guy who likes to argue his point but actually cares about the topic (me) or a worthless troll who has zero to add EVER (you).

Like a seat belt, antibiotics, hard hat, or a bullet? Life saving ability and the value of the US dollar are not directly related. Did you know a rock (free off the ground!) can stop a bullet but a $1000 bill can't?

How thick are these? And do they fit in a normal plate carrier?

About 3/8 of an inch thick and they will fit. Please note that polyethylene loses it's ability to stop bullets once exposed to hot or freezing temps. Don't store in a hot trunk.
