I have had the same issue with my M4E1 lowers and these, dremel'd the pocket on the lower just a little, and some aluminum black, and it was good to go
Probably not the exact brand but definetly an identical design to these we had on our M4s. Had troubles with these on patrols and when mounted. Very minimal pressure will let the mag drop free.
The original manufacturer charges $80 for one, think these are Airsoft replicas. Still do the same thing though.
Slick little ambi mag release. Easy install. Sturdy built. Looks nice too.
Looks viable. Offhand + injury retention and continuation drills. USA. I'll give it a shot on the training rig for $25. In for another for the LMT MRP if it works out.
Anyone with a review yet?
Simple, hardy part. If you know a lefty or just want to be able to use your other hand, this is as affordable as these get, and it works just fine.
I have bought many of these and had zero issues installing or functioning in various AR15 lower receivers. Also work well in PSA PA-10 lowers, but did not work well due to binding in Aero Precision M5 lowers. For those particular lowers, I ended up finding "Sig Sauer Ambi Mag Catch Assy, M400, 516 - 1700185-R" at around $16 shipped (from Optics Planet) as a good (yet inexpensive) ambi option. After paying upwards of $80 for a Norgon with no real advantage, both these and the Sigs work great for me.
