I purchased one and then returned it. While it pretends to be a real book, it does not look much like it. There is about 2mm gap between the front cover and the internal safe's door. The pages are glued together, so it looks more like a solid block. You might as well purchase a plastic version which is cheaper and it's going to look very similar to this one. Unfortunately there aren't many options available, but I did managed to fit my S&W M&P 342CT into a smaller "book" (not a safe) which does look and feel like a real book.
