It is comical that these things are even on the market for this price considering a Ruger PR in .308 for under $1000.

Im not defending barrett by any means,
Im also not against ruger having owned and currently owning quite a few of them.
Honestly I could build a no holds barred F class bolt gun for the price they are asking for this overpriced 308 bolt gun.
Ive been in the shit a few times and NO WAY would I want a ruger precision rifle in my hands when someone is firing back at me.....gimme a sako, a fn, a blaser, a AI, a DT.....but no pos ruger.
A ruger and a barret are not marketed for the same buyer.....far from it. A ruger is a cheapo entry paper puncher. A barret is marketed to the professional operator (you know, like the military?).
Please dont use something meant for an entirely different market as a comparison, thx.
