Comparing my factory cerakoted M82A1, this one is identical other than different roll mark, the CAGE code sticker, spikes on the bipod and three extra magazines. Mine was less than $7k. Had I known about this special edition, I would have been more than happy to pay over twice the price for the bragging rights of these exclusive features.

I can't get to the deal, but based on this listing, I'm having a hard time determining if it's the M107 (M82A1) or M107A1. If it's the M107A1, this isn't a terrible deal, but the pictures seem to indicate it's just a tan M82A1 (tank brake specifically seems to indicate that) with a few special aesthetic features and more mags.

So if it's just a M107, then I totally agree with you that it's not a deal. If it's the 107A1, then it's not a terrible deal, but still not great. To compare, I got a 107A1 WITH the Barrett suppressor for around this price a few years ago.

"This special edition rifle is identical to the M107 rifles that deploy with US military personnel"

Also M107A1 had cerakoted rail and cheek pad. This is just a tan M82A1

"This is just a tan M82A1" I agree, I purchased mine late last year (82a1) with Barrett rings and Vortex PST Gen II 5-25x50 for a total of $8699 from a great seller on Gunbroker.

Apparently the only model that can be suppressed is the M107A1. From Barrett's FAQ page:
CAN I INSTALL A SUPPRESSOR ON MY BARRETT MODEL 82A1® RIFLE?
Installing a suppressor on your Model 82A1 will void your warranty and may also damage your rifle. The only 50 caliber semi-auto rifle manufactured by Barrett that is suppressor capable is the M107A1.

So in closing, it is not identical due to the non A1 profile and connot be suppressed.
