And how is this 3X better than the Ruger Precision I bought last week?Didn't think so.
I’m actually thinking of going Weatherby Vanguard modular chassis. A bit more than a Ruger Precision, but I’ve always liked Weatherby. Wish they had it in .30-06 though.
Hard sell considering you can get a sub moa Ruger PR for 1/3 the price. I do like the 98B though.
The ABA Howa Precision (link below) is a much better deal (unfortunately now out of stock at the $675 price) and I'll bet it shoots just as good as this Barrett for well over $2000 less. The Ruger Precision most likely also will match the abilities of this Barrett for around $2000 less. IMHO you are paying for a name, don't get me wrong. I believe Barrett produces quality firearms, just don't believe they are so far superior to the competing manufacturers to account for the bloated price especially given the reduced prices offered from so many manufacturers now that the Donald is in office.
