Looks like it could be “dent city” the way they are all loose. New meaning to “scraping the bottom of the barrel”. Might be OK for the military but none for me, thanks.

Not a deal at all. 5.56, even green tip, can be found for between $0.22 and $0.25 on ammoseek

Aweful price here... I feel there should be more trolls in here flaming this offer.

then you figure in the ones that come dented, smashed and banged up. no deal here. this stuff in bulk can be really damaged. I get them boxed on stripper clips for this money

xm855 is averaging .28 on this site, at this volume it should be .25, horrible deal

for this quality i would expect a lot better deal NOT .34 ea.

you guys are wrong, 34 cents per round is a great price for penetrator ammo. This is almost like precious metal, you don't get discount for buying a ton of gold, price is per ounce.

Actually you do get a discount when buying a precious metal, like gold, in bulk. Manufactured goods like this enjoy even greater discounts relating to quantity. Do you think Wal-Mart pays the same price per round you do when they buy a tractor trailer and you buy 2 boxes of 5.56?

They do that intentionally.. they sell this stuff in HUGE quantities because they know people will assume (rightfully so) that the larger the quantity of the purchase, the larger the discount.. since that's the way things work in about 90% of all other transactions :)

They do it with "bulk packs" too for handgun ammo.. they pack loose ammo into a cheap cardboard box with a "bulk!" sticker slapped on it and people snap 'em up figuring they're getting a deal.
