Description
The Australian Army may only have around 30,000 members, but they need good ammunition regardless. This is the same exact 5.56x45 ammo they’d use to defend the Commonwealth from foreign invasions or anarchistic kangaroos.
Australia’s F1 cartridge is completely analogous to America’s own M855 ammo. That means this round’s bullet contains a steel penetrator core, even though the tip of its FMJ is not painted green. Be careful not to take this ammo where magnetic bullets are banned! But do enjoy it for regular target shooting with any AR-15 rifle.
An F1 bullet’s strong tip helps it pierce sheet metal and other tough barriers, and it may even break in half as it penetrates soft tissue. At 62 grains this bullet will offer the best accuracy out of a 1:9 or 1:8 twist barrel, although a 1:7 twist will serve just fine.
Although foreign, this ammo still has non-corrosive Boxer primers for cleaner shooting and reloadability’s sake. These rounds’ brass cases are also brand new – the discoloration you see is merely the byproduct of the annealing process which makes them more durable.
These 900 rounds are packaged in a steel ammo can, so they’re great for stocking up. Just be sure that this isn’t like the other Australian Defense Industries F1 ammo we’ve offered in the past – these rounds are packed loose, not in plastic sleeves!

I like ADI powder. I’d like to try their ammo. Maybe someone other than LG has some I can buy.
Good stuff. Still, wouldn't buy from LG if it was half price-their shipping is outrageous!
Of course. https://usa.embassy.gov.au/defence-cooperation...
side note: "Defence" is the standard spelling in Australian English. "Defense" is the standard spelling in American English.
Of course they don't have defense....they play rugby and soccer, not american football.
ADI Outback ammo is good
Lucky Gunner is NOT so good
Tax $35.95 and shipping $29.44. No thanks.
