Description

The AU BCG Bolt Carrier Group coated in Nickel Boron for your AR-15, M16 or M4 was created to meet and exceed all Mil Spec standards. Compatible with semi-auto and full-auto receivers. The bolts are MPI tested & Marked to give you ultimate confidence in your weapon system.

Treated Nickel Boron finish produces an exceptionally hard surface that’s 40% more wear resistant than chrome plating, with an ultra-low friction coefficient. The surface is harder than the substrate underneath and will not peel, flake, gall, or rub off. Our treated Nickel Boron finish bolt carrier groups have been tested to function reliably without additional lubrication up to 50,000 rounds. Reduced friction also means less heat generated by metal-on-metal contact, so the gun runs cooler and parts last longer.

There's a review of the bcg on calguns.
http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?p=13541338#post13541338...
Looks okay, but the extractor is either MIM or investment cast.
At least the carrier key staking looks good enough.

This is very telling. The product you think you are buying based on photos posted by THE DEALER, HIMSELF is different than the one that willl arrive at your door. BAIT AND SWITCH. The recomendations of a bunch of calguns users are to get your BCG from Aim Surplus.

I just finished reading all nine forum pages from the link provided below as well as several searches from ARFcom. These comments seem to be based on very real evidence of fraud. What troubles me most is the date stamps showing Arms Unlimited was following the thread, but made no attempt to clear their name of any wrong doing.

This is especially troubling because this BGC is their own in-house brand. Can we trust you? If you say the bolt is made out of Carpenter 158 steel can we believe you?

I'll give the vendor a short time to try to explain their side, but if I'm not satisified, down votes are on their way!

We stand behind all products we offer and offer a warranty on this item.

They are 100% USA made/assembled and they are the same manufacturer who makes and private labels BCGs for many other large dealers/manufacturers.

We have many of these BCGs and have yet to receive a single complaint in quality, this goes for all AU products, we only use reputable machine shops and the highest quality material when sourcing our privately labeled products.

Can you please describe the connection between your company and Botach Tactical? In particular, this situation:

un- American activities
http://www.laweekly.com/2010-08-05/news/arms-merchants-of-south-central/...
" Yoav Botach is a wealthy landlord. He founded, and his son now owns, an arms dealership in an unsettling locale for one: South Central. And his grandson was convicted of conspiracy for peddling to the U.S. Army decomposing ammunition — so old that it was traced to the factories of Mao Tse-tung — as part of a $300 million contract to arm the Afghan government."

Are these your bolt carrier groups also?:

Nothing to do with us, they are a separate company with no connection to us.

We don't answer ridiculous questions like the ones you are presenting that have nothing to do with the products we are offering, if you want to have a discussion move along to the forums, you will find countless hours of entertainment there

From a customer standpoint heres what I see that is troubling, on more than one occasion you have been asked about the counterfeit situation and you have not responded with a direct answer. The information on calguns does not paint a very good picture and I would think you would be trying your very best to put buyers minds at ease by addressing the situation. Instead, you avoid the counterfeit issue all together and when you do post a response you act like a toolshed and post some arrogant crap like the customer is an idiot for daring to question your product. I will say this, youve lost me and anyone I talk to as a customer not necessarily for the counterfeit issue, troubling as that is, but because your attitude and customer service is pathetic.

We have responded and said we do not and have never sold any counterfeit raddlock products, the accusations are outright false. We offer a similar improved product and that is all. It has nothing to do with the BCGs we offer or anything else we offer. The BCGs are not labeled and offered under our company name.

We are not going to comment on any legal matters, end of story.

Mr ArmsUnlimited,

Please forgive me if this was asked or answered elsewhere, but can you please explain where the alleged counterfeits products came from prior to these items ending up on your store shelves? And exactly what REMEDY have you implemented for those that allegedly bought a bunk product for you, and what your steps you're prepared to take to prevent this from happening again.

Some counterfeits are so good even the manufacture are hard pressed to quickly identify them, and I realize even the best vendors can be duped,.

What separates a good vendor from a bad one is how they deal with issues exactly like this.

Just a troll being a troll. Our NiB Bolt Carrier Groups have been selling at an outstanding pace and many private label AR15 builders have been scooping them up to use in their builds due to their high quality and affordable price.

Own an NiB BCG for the price other dealers charge for a standard phosphate coated BCG
