Description
ATI® Omni Hybrid Maxx P4 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington Semi-auto AR Pistol
Featuring ATI®'s metal-reinforced polymer upper and lower receivers for reduced weight and increased maneuverability…without sacrificing durability. The lower receiver features an over-molded metal insert, which reinforces the buffer tube housing and rear takedown pin. This allows for metal-on-metal contact with both the buffer tube as well as the rear takedown pin, delivering durability to withstand recoil and constant use. Bottom line: you get an AR Pistol with "heavy metal" strength…but at a price that can't be beat.
Both the upper and lower are built from a fiberglass-composite polymer over a zinc metal insert, with extra reinforcements in high-pressure sections
Inter-lock hammer and trigger pin retainment system built into the Lower prevents movement from the hammer and trigger pin during firing
7" KeyMod handguard

It's not about grouping guys. It's about muzzle velocity. The .223 or 5.56 round isn't as effective at the lower muzzle velocity that a 7.5" barrel produces.
Still higher ft/lbs than 9mm or .45 at the same barrel length. Hunting/home defense ammo should help the shortcomings at sub 100 meters, which this shouldn't be used past as is.
I bought one of these in March and its pretty awesome little guns.
Solid advice. I’ve melted more pistol ARs next to open flames than I care to admit. The bursting cartridges are always destroying my kid’s frozen pizzas.
Spend an extra $100 and you’ll have an all metal one that will not met if exposed to an open flame, my two cents.
Im gonna get this and then an AR 15.
With a 7.5 inch barrel really doesn't work like a 5.66 .233 Should
True, kind of like throwing knuckleballs, need at least 10.5" to improve groups, preferably 16 or 18" but then no longer a handgun, but at $360 its a fun and very attention getting gun to take to the range and more than accurate enough for home defense and/or hitting a torso out to 100 yards with iron sights or a red dot.
I dont have an ati but I have my own built ar15 with a 7.5" and I have no issues with it shooting straight. 1.5" groupings at around 75 yards. Upgrade the trigger is my advice.
Does this have a rubber shell deflector?
I recently got one of these in a trade, it's not a long range hitter but it's very capable out to 60-75yds and it's most certainly an attention getter ,600rnds and counting!!
