The Omni Hybrid MAXX AR-15 features ATI's metal-reinforced polymer upper and lower receivers, which help to reduce weight and increase maneuverability without sacrificing durability! The lower receiver features an over-molded metal insert, which reinforces the buffer tube housing and rear takedown pin. This allows for metal-on-metal contact with both the buffer tube as well as the rear takedown pin, delivering the strength and durability to withstand recoil and constant use.

What's on the next model? Polymer barrel? Oh but it's lined with aluminum.... bout as ridiculous as a polymer upper in my opinion
I've put over 1000 rounds through mine. Shot all kinds of ammo, and the only problems were the occasional FTE. I imagine the people who complain on here are die hard Glock fans........
I can vouch for these being junk. The polymer upper is outright dangerous, and beyond stupid IMO. The one I tried out literally broke to pieces in my hands. Luckily I wasn't injured, and I was able to send an email expressing my concerns to the manufacturer. Stay away from these things.

At this price point you're better off getting the Del-Ton Sport Lite for 4 bills.
It compares to an S&W like an el cheapo Chinese no name tire to a Michelin. Total junk. Don't waste your money

This AR is pretty solid to be full polymer its better than the first Gen that was all polymer and was over heating very fast that reinforce aluminum and steel help the lower receiver a lot. I put 1000rounds through it with no problems. Worth the money for the price
Worst piece of crap you will ever purchase. Chink parts and it will never work. Spend a couple of hundred bucks and buy USA.
from the website "Made in the USA" is that false advertising?
From the research Ive done the OMNI Hybrid Lower is made in the USA. I have a couple of these lowers and they work as intended. They have reinforced stress points with aluminum, but they are still polymer lowers. Not bad if your just looking for a cheap AR. Id be more concerned with the polymer upper.
I've shot over 1k rounds in mine as well. Still holding up. I'm sure if they make an ar15, it's at least proven that it works. And in my case it does. :)
