American Tactical Imports GSG 1911 22 LR Pistol in Black Finish. This pistol brings updated and unique features to the 1911 platform: 22 LR high velocity caliber, 10 round capacity (detachable), semi-automatic recoil operated working system, 5" barrel length, and 8.5" overall length with 6 grooves. The GSG-1911 features the same weight and feel of a classic 1911 pistol but with 80 percent interchangeable parts, guaranteed 5lb trigger and threaded barrel. Available with classic wood grips.

I don't own one, but I've held them before and they seem really well made.This is a pretty good deal compared to what it's going for on gunbroker.
i don't own this pistol, i own an Ruger SR40 but my question is: why doesn't this post/pistol have a 4 star rating minimum? i mean, this pistol looks freakin' awesome. it has that nice 1911 style and it's a "plinker", a .22LR that can give you joy for the whole weekend and only spend $16 worth of ammo. i need to get me one of these. owner's of this pistol please post a review on here.
This is a perfect handgun for plinking. Feels and works exactly like the 1911. I have this one in black with the fake can (silencer) and it works perfectly. Works with Federal bulk packs from walmart. I guess the low ratings are from haters that think it does not have stopping power and that it's not a 1911 unless it's chambered in 45acp.
any firearm is dangerous, even my .177 Air Rifle can stop someone. i just don't get it when ppl feel they need .45's and .50 cal's when a .22LR is just as dangerous. this is a very nice arm and i just can't wait till i save me a couple bucks to get this pistol. i read on other websites that just about 80% of parts used to customize the 1911 .45 ACP are usable on this .22LR version. i think that is awesome. this is pretty much a full fledged 1911 pistol.
nice price drop on these GSGs. They work and look great. This is the lowest I've seen them sell for.
