I realize i am not answering your question. My apologies. But what makes you think prices on AK and other "assault" type firearms will drop after the elections? From what i understand, the prices may not be the biggest issue then. Availability might be a bigger issue. Kinda what happened with the automatic firearms years ago. Technically, they are available, but ... at what cost?
Depends on who wins. Trump wins and the Snowflakes go ape. Half of America burning shit. That will keep gun/ammo prices up. Biden wins and gun nuts buy up everything in sight. That will keep gun/ammo prices up. I don't see things going back to normal for 18+ months. I just bought $1K in food and two more freezers the last few days. I am good on guns/ammo, food and water. Oh, and a shitload of TP. Still working on January's purchase. Good luck to the city dwellers who are unprepared.
I’m going to wait post election for prices to drop. It may take at least a year. But I’d like to buy another AK. Does anyone out there own one of these AND have experience with a Palmetto AK? AK operators union can’t seem to say enough about the Palmetto AKE especially and they also seem to like the other models. There’s quite a bit of difference in price. Is it worth spending the extra 20% ish+ on the Arsenal models? I realize this isn’t an AK, I’m asking about Palmetto vs this manufacturer in general.
