Description
With its premium hot-die hammer-forged receiver, cold hammer-forged barrel, and high-grade components, the SAM7K from Arsenal® is no cheap knock-off. It's a fine take on the AK pistol, and the perfect way to start your SBR build.
Each SAM7K receiver is milled from a hot-die hammer-forged receiver blank by the Arsenal Co. of Bulgaria. Other milled-receiver AKs are machined from bar stock, but Arsenal's hot-die hammer forging produces stronger and finer-grained steel. Internal voids and cooling deformations are eliminated by the 5-ton hammer forging process.
Each blank requires over 5.5 hours of milling before assembly. This forging and milling process is complex and time-intensive, but this meticulous attention to detail delivers a receiver of unequaled strength, precision and durability.
And that's just the receiver. Literally every component has been engineered to deliver decades of dependable service. If you're an AK enthusiast, or if you're looking to get started on your short-barreled rifle, you can't go wrong with the SAM7K.

Any brace that mounts like a M92 brace should (in theory) work. It is literally a piece of metal held in place by the friction of the pistol grip and receiver. As long as these things use standard AK pistol grips, there is no reason it should not work. Please note I have never tried however have a lot of experience with similar guns.

Excellent deal, specially if you get the 4 payment plan!
Decent deal - About the only things not to like are the wimpy 5 round magazine and the "faux" muzzle device. I'm pretty sure the muzzle device is pressed and pinned and lacks threads. People would argue the Arsenal finish is lacking as well. I have milled Bulgarian going back to the SA93 days and the finish is intact but I'm not generating sustained fire heat levels.
That "faux muzzle device" is a krinkov, and they're pretty nice end attachments. Reduces recoil and redirects blast. This is imported as a pistol and shouldn't have a pinned muzzle. If this AK pistol is anything like my m85, then the krinkov should be able to screw right off, and show 14-1 LH underneath.
Why they wouldn’t just make a nice milled ak pistol with a threaded barrel and a replaceable grip/normal safety I’ll never understand. They would fly off the shelves
You can replace the grip on them. The thumb part of the safety is held to the main safety by a pin. It’s removable and can be reinstalled at any point. The grip itself can be swapped to whatever you want
That will come out sometime immediately *after* you buy this one...
Ha! That ALWAYS happens to me. I scout this site daily for deals. Without fail, nearly every time I get what I think is a good deal, I then see it lower elsewhere within a week’s time.
This needs an m203 and an eotech and it will be video game worthy lol
I'll pay you $700 and I'll throw in some beats headphones.
What's the least you a take for it?
Will it be easy to put a folding stock on one of these? I would be happy to form 1 it.
It comes with a removable rear receiver plate to add a folding hinge or a usmachingun.com brace. Both options are pretty easy.
Ive been looking at these as well.I have a pre ban bulgy rifle looking at these pistols.Seen some nice set ups with the "brace" .
Wrong BarrettBoy - it looks like a Krinkov muzzle brake but is not threaded and is only pressed on to the FSB which has the threads removed. The barrel extends to the end of the device so there is absolutely no benefit and the brake is FAUX as I said. I dislike the fact we can’t post pictures here but just pulled one out of the box to verify.
The M85 does have a removable Krink brake, however you are also incorrect about the thread pattern being 14x1LH. That is a standard AK pattern but the Krink brake is larger.
