Man I bought one of these in 1995 for $49.99 at a sporting goods store... lol. Good little pistols though for what they are. Not at this price however....

Good lord settled down.I wasn't trying to somehow imply the price I paid back in1995 ($49.99) should be the same price these days. I'm not an idiot and I understand Inflation, Supply and demand, etc...I was only speaking off this CURRENTLY listed price. Its way too much. They are excellent little pistols and I really enjoyed the one I had.. Ballistically they are not too of the food chain when it some to knock down power but they are very reliable and last a lifetime. They certainly do not produce solid pistols of full steel, except on very small, limited quantity these days. If it was say around $250-$280, I'd most likely buy one for my collection.

I agree completely! In fact I will add that prices for 1911s are insane! Why should you pay more for a 1911 than how much it cost 1957: $45?

Deal! Considering the average annual inflation of 3%, average banks interest rate of 2.5%, and that that would be a 900% return on investment... I’ll give you $5K, if you guarantee a $46K return.
