bought rock island revolver and trigger would get stuck on same cylinder everytime..... right outta the box brand new.
Sent into warranty and they did fix it though.
For 250$ ish i guess you can't expect perfection on QC.

why are RIA's revolvers either $200 or $700?

Thr RIA M product line is an established product used by Phillippinian military and law enforcement. The M line (M200 and 206) is budget friendly yet reliable. The AL product line is new. It is made in partnership with CZ and required expensive R&D. The M line can afford to keep the price down. The AL line is priced so that the company could see the return on investment in the foreseeable future.

I've never tried to add a deal to this site, so I'll just mention this in the comments... Rural King currently has this model listed for $209.98. Had to order one.

These little things get great reviews for the money and I've never heard of one not going bang when the trigger was pulled. I handled the 2" version at my LGS and the only thing not to like was that it had lots of precise (sharp) angles on it. I'd be tempted to buy one and take a fine stone to those edges, but then you'd have to refinish those edges, and a Taurus isn't all that much money more. And a S&W or Ruger isn't all that much more money, but we can keep going down the pay-more-get-more road like that forever. Just make an informed decision if you intend to buy one of these budget revolvers.

You will have to pay cash or check to get the current price, but shipping is free and KentuckyGunCo has always treated me well as a customer.

Emailed quote was for $249. Not bad but not what was posted here. Care to elaborate Mark?

I entered email for quote and was sent a price of $249.99 + $7.99 unless using cash. Did not bother giving them my shipping and billing information to get a quote on shipping and tax. So deal is either dead or an error.

Couldn't find this actual firearm on this site, oh and the guy who says pay double just buy a glock automatically is discredited by the actual 2A guys. Reloaders rejoice in the M200 :)

My job requires a .38 with a 4" barrel. This is a hard piece to find for a deal like this.

I know this is an old post but I am extremely curious what sort of job would "require a . 38 with a 4" barrel? Then one that would allow a bottom budget wheel gun like these? Man I hope this guy's still around to answer my question because I am SUPER curious. Lol.
No sort of legitimate law enforcement or even Armed security companies with any sort of credibility would ever allow one of these to be used in a duty capacity. Trust me, I speak with 28 years experience in both. If some new hire showed up to certify with one of these, I'd literally use his paperwork and state application for target practice from a "real" duty weapon.... Lol

Why would anybody not just spend Twice as more and get a GLOCK? Resolvers are going to be extinct in the next 4 years anyways!

Hey let's say shit does hit the fan an umm there's only aluminum ammo left ahh. That means that you sir are fucked with all your Glocks. While we would still be able to Pew with a revolver. No feeding issues it's a no brainier

I have out thousands of cheap aluminum case ammo thru my glocks, sigs and cz's. Never had an issue. Same with steel case.

You're a fucking idiot if you think revolvers are going to go away in the place of semi-automatic guns .......

1930’s Police sidearm.

Funny thing is those "1930's police sidearms" are most likely still working! Not that I'd ever carry one for duty but you get the point.
