Was thinking of picking one of these up, but I guess not now. Only because I had a RIA 1911 and never encountered an issue. I still regret selling it.
It is +P rated which confirmed directly via armscor. So far been a very reliable weapon with 500 rounds(120 +P).Installed colt detective hogue grips but had to super glue the gap which now is just a perfect fit.I use Desantis Colt Detective soft tuk holster which took a week to break in and now it just fits right in.I call this a colt S&W hybrid.Good buy for money anytime!!
Out of Stock, apparently. Resembles a Colt Detective Special. I don't think these are +P rated, are they? Some people dislike the ARMSCOR M206 Revolver's appearance. I don't see anything wrong with how it looks, so long as it works.
I tryed one of these out , I always root for the underdog . actually I first ryed out a RIA M5 shotgun , I like the oldschool and nickel finish . It was a dissaster , nickel finish had weird marks on it and it drove me nuts , worse it performed like crap , Jamming and the heatshield sliding off when shooting . Took it back to Big 5 luckily they let me , who the hell wants to send a brand new gun you just payed for in for warranty work , that is the worst and unacceptable .
So anyways I gave them another shot with the m206 with the hammer , first off the hammer is way too long , had to shave it down and second and most important it would fail to fire on the third round typically , striking off center . I would have to unlock the cylinder and relock it and then try again for it to fire that round , so again i would need to send it in for work to make it right , I opted to get rid off it instead F that shit ... Also i did get the hogue grips which did give it a nice grip ... Sorry RIA but they failed me twice and all before I have given their 1911s a shot which i HAVE HEARD ARE 100% RELIABLE.
