With the free shipping it's a pretty good deal. My local range sells them cheaper for 17.99 and they are never in stock.
My next door neighbor bought his wife a revolver that uses .22WMR, apparently she has dexterity issues using a semi auto.
Not sure what to think of .22WMR as a viable caliber, but I do know the local ranges sells this same ammo for $24.99 to $29.99 per 50
So $12.99 is a whole lot better than the local cost of this ammo.
I was able to snag a few boxes. No out of stock emails yet anyway. This is great because I just picked up a NAA Wasp and a NAA Pug and had no ammo for them except for the .22LR cylinder for the Wasp. When buying these little guns I didn't realize that 22 Mag ammo was even harder to find than .22LR!
Typical SG scenario, place order then email notice of none in stock.
These are great plinking rounds, my Savage A-22Mag loves them, however, I wouldn't hunt with these unless you're under about 70 yards. They just do not seem to have "killing power" past that point. Might be the bullet, might be the powder. They do group well on paper.
