We're talking 34 pounds of pure, earth-shaking, bone-crushing muscle capable of punching through distant concrete and steel targets with precision and ease. But despite its status as a force of nature, it doesn't lack refinements. The AR-50A1 has been redesigned with a smoother action, new bolt stop, and even greater strength than the original AR-50. Designed to be an economical answer (compared to other .50 BMG rifles) for the challenges of long-range shooting, the AR-50A1 is amazingly accurate—and thanks to its massive fluted muzzle brake, it has very gentle recoil, too. But the muzzle brake doesn't just soften up the recoil. Independent testing has shown the AR-50A1 muzzle brake to be the BEST in the industry for accuracy. The brake scrapes away turbulent muzzle gases, and lets the bullet break into clean air for amazing accuracy. The AR-50A1 features a unique octagonal receiver bedded down into a V-shaped stock. The action itself is smooth as glass, helped by the fact that the Rifle has no magazine and thus no follower to add complexity. The stock is adjustable for cheek weld, and features a buttplate made from over an inch of soft rubber to mitigate recoil. The AR-50A1 also comes equipped with a Schilen single-stage trigger that breaks at 5 pounds.
