no I think your reffering to this model. The Arex Delta. Which is a very nice weapon.

Too bad the mags don't interchange with SIG. I'd pick up quite a few. If I ever get a chance to try out one of these I'd like to.

Is it a Sig copy?

I own both guns and there are similarities and differences between the two. Both have an aluminum frame. Both are short recoil fed. The springs for the decocker and trigger bar are similar. The controls, the action and, the tolerances are very different plus the Rex gives you an ambidextrous thumb safety. As far as how they run, I prefer my P226 but I’ve also upgraded most of the parts on it to get it to run like I want. Plus I can shoot 9mm, .40cal, and .357SIG cartridges out of my P226 by changing barrels, springs, etc. The Rex only comes in 9mm, for now anyway.

It's actually more of a CZ999 clone since it's literally built from CZ999 frame and slide blanks. The CZ999 is a variant of the CZ99 and the CZ99 is the combination of the Walther P88 guts and Sig p226 Aesthetics. So it looks like a sig but the controls are different.

Distaste pretty much nailed it.

If you say so.

It is but they added a manual safety and combined the slide lock slide release with the decocker.... Which has been done before. Every body went giddy over this gun after a MAC torture test, only to get sucked in to buying an 800 pistol and sell it used for 350. Nothing against arex nothing against the pistol outside of adding a safety to a near perfect design. Instead of buying this gun at 800 at rhe time I bought a 226 red box for 600. Sigs hols value these wont my 2c

I will say that I like the nitrocarbureized finish on the Rex better than SIG’s nitron finish and the full length picatinny rail that extends out to the muzzle is a nice touch too. But it’s no P226, however, for the price point, the Rex is still an excellent value.

I got one a while back. Nice gun with lots of positive reviews on youtub. Unfortunately they flopped in the American market. Fime group no longer imports these. Now they are imported by global ordinance. They will be rebranded slightly I think. I paid 550 for mine from brownells about a year ago.

I like mine. The grip is pretty THICC, though, and I have larger than average hands.
