One more thing I noticed: It’s listed in gray finish with a barrel length of 4.25” inches which is the standard model, but they have the compact version with the stainless slide pictured in the photo. Which one is this deal for?

Good catch. You’re right about the grey frame. Based on the model listed by KY Gun Co, it’s this one:

It would have the same finish but it would be the full-size version

I have a P226 and I love it. I’m really considering buying the Rex zero too. One notable difference between the two. My p226 can shoot .40sw, 9mm, and .357SIG rounds just by swapping barrels, recoil springs, and mags. The Arex can’t do that but I like the price, the fit/finish, and that rail that extends to the muzzle.

This is a very pretty variant of this pistol.

Would rather have this than a Sig. Sig is overpriced.

Sig may be overpriced, but it has a higher street value. In the case of the Sig, it’s the legacy and brand that inflate the price. I love my Arex, but it doesn’t have the same notoriety as the Sig does. If so ever go to sell one, the Sig will be worth more.

So, I guess I’m just saying I agree with you, but price does not always equal value.

6x a week a 2x on Tuesday. Arex is not a bad gun, but it ain't a 226 or a 229/228.

I am not a big fan of the Sig Arms products but I can say that I was able to sell my used Arex Zero for more than enough to replace it with a red box Sig. I didn't have any complaints about the Arex it just isn't my preference and I replaced it with a Walther PPQ and haven't looked back.
