Our A2 steel plates are tested to go above and beyond NIJ Level III standards: Due to the harder steel material, the A2 plate is tested for rifles including and up to 5.56x45 M193 and M855 at 3,000 FPS. Being a steel plate, it is also multi-hit capable and edge-to-edge. Included in this package are Trauma Pads which are to be worn behind a plate to protect you from the blunt impact of the bullet. The included Phoenix Backpack is a slick and discreet way to protect yourself and your loved ones from most threats you’re likely to encounter, its built-in IIIA panel being able to stop all pistol rounds. The backpack itself is made with durable zippers with Hypalon® pull tabs, designed to eliminate the unneeded hassle small or fragile zippers can cause. The back is padded for comfort, as are the fully adjustable backpack straps. The bottom, made of more high-traction (slip-free) Hypalon®, is abrasion and water-resistant. All this is designed to make a backpack that not only can protect you from threats but also be reliable for common everyday usage.
