I have learned that this website is under new ownership and the new owner is very consumer oriented compared to the last owner. It seems to me that the bad reviews are from the old owner based on when the domain was registered.

Anyway, I have used them for some AR 15 80 lowers and they offered great service and the prices were fair.

I was looking through the site the other day again and they have added a shopping cart for their items. Before I actually used a form to order but that required a phone call. No big deal as the guy was nice but still, simple to use a cart saves me some time.

Terrible Customer Service. Here's how RGUNS treated me when I ordered two 80% lowers from them...

29 Jan email to them:

>> Hi - I ordered this 28 days ago and haven't received it yet. Can you
>> > update me on the progress?
>> >
>> > Thanks,

29 Jan response from them:

>> >TRY DUING THE MATH. 21 DAYS. IT WILL GO VERRY SOON. 4-7 DAYS

(They were right...I was a week off)
29 Jan response from me:

>> Try spellcheck. And maybe not being an ass to your customers.

And 30 Jan response from them, which I expected.

> ORDER TERMINATED.

All that because I read the date wrong and thought I ordered it a week before. Maybe they just expect to be out of business in a month or two so they're not putting any investment into how they treat customers. I won't do business with them again.

$15 bucks for shipping for a paper weight? I wanted to order one but I think I'll pass.

Now that is pretty cool, wonder if you can legally turn that into a weapon. Pretty sure manufacturing your own gun in general is a FELONY, but if somehow you ask for permission first there is probably some way to do it.. I would rather have a DUMMY Grenade as a paperweight though!

Per usual, you don't know what you're talking about. It is perfectly legal to make your own firearm. However it is much easier to start with one of the "80%" receivers that only require a jig and a drill bit to finish. I wouldn't use this for anything more than a paperweight.

It is perfectly legal to build your own semi-auto firearm, so long as its not being sold or used to generate income.

So far Rguns has NOT gouged or limited stock, they are staying in my book as a reputable dealer, just got a few uppers of them for 95 each to my door each,,, cannot complain about this company at all and are working hard to keep the civil based well armed.
now if they would get some BCG in stock :)

Anybody have a detailed set of instructions for milling these? I have done 80% lowers before and have access to a drill press and lathe. These look pretty intense to mill.
