In theory this design is above and behind 99.9% of at 15 on the market hands down the barrel looks to cool the min shaft 10 times faster and appears to be a great to incorporate a silencer simple porting of the barrel could be an easy home capable upgrade but this is my opinion but I've had a small amount of firearms training

i bought .223 u upper the sent 300 Blk , damaged used BCG, Looks way different from the photo , customer service bad 2 days for someone to returns phone call i had to dispute pay pal payment to receive my payment ,

Thinking on buying this right now. This a good investment?

Is it a 71/2 inch barrel with a three inch comp making it a 101/2 inch upper ? Or a 71/2 inch upper?

I had the same issues with the CH and BCG. Bcg had some tooling marks, but the bolt itself was decent. Shoots great but I replaced the ch, no further issues.

Can I just buy 300 BO 10.5" upper without charger handle and BCG?

I'd love this in a 5.56 , 300BO , & A .308

Got mine on 7/29/17. Cleaned it and then put it on a Anderson lower that I built. Shot approx. 200 rounds and it was flawless. Fits tight on lower, no movement. Had a good experience when I called to check on my order. Very friendly folks.

I got mine in about a week or so ago. It's mated to an Anderson lower I put together. The action feels gritty. The charging handle is already scratching due to the finish on this upper. I'm not really concerned and I have not fired it yet. The machining is very nice. The tolerances seem tight. I hope it functions well once I get it to the range. Other than the shipping time and the gritty feel of the gun will pulling the charging handle, it seems to be a well built and unique upper. I'm going to lube it well and shoot it for more feedback.

Slicknugs my palmetto state and Anderson lower is like that not sure why

Could you guys that ordered this tell me how yours fit? I bought just the billet upper a while back and I could not get the rear takedown pin to go in without filing/sanding the rear hole and wall edges (I thought just doing the hole would work but the pin would still get stopped at the opposite side of the lower receiver). I can finally push it all the way through with great effort but can't get it out without a punch and hammer.

Mine just mailed this week and will arrive monday.

Let me say the customer service at Digitals is TOP NOTCH. These guys bent over backwards to make this right in every way. They even offered to upgrade parts and swap my current order with stuff they hadn't even released yet! It really stinks that I did not get my order on time. However the follow up was GREATLY appreciated. With how much of a commodity item AR parts can be service and value are what sets these guys apart.
With what I was shown and told, I cannot wait until they get into the 458 socom market. The new product with BCA bear claw style barrel is going to be an incredible looking rifle.

I ordered on 4th of July knowing it would take a little while but man it still hasn't shipped. I contacted them twice and they started a shipping label but USPS still has not received the item for shipment almost a week later. I'm in the same boat of asking for an order cancellation and a refund because it should not take this long for an upper to be bought and sold and then travel 1500 miles in this country in 2017. I'll stick to PSA and Bear Creek Arsenal.

Mine is going on four weeks. I was told 2-3 weeks wait. After two weeks I reached out to them and was told they were waiting on barrels. After three weeks I asked again, and apparently still waiting on barrels. It is now going into the fourth week and apparently barrels are supposed to arrive Thursday or Friday. Meaning I will have been waiting five weeks. If my order isn't shipped by Monday I will be looking for a refund.
