I agree but for this price, you could just swap the barrel to 10.5. I bought one and will see how it shoots. If not so good, I'll change the barrel to a 10.5 in.
I am not saying this is the best barrel available, but if you are looking to do it on the cheap, buy this upper and buy one of these...

I just ordered this with a Karri lower myself for my wife total about $220. I have extra parts (red dots, brace, etc.) laying around from other projects.
