Description

The AR-12 not only resembles the AR-15 / M16 rifle but the control and function are similar. There have been a couple of variations of these on the market in the past with varying degrees of success but with the AR-12 we think that Leader Arms Technologies of Turkey has finally hit on the ultimate combination of design and features. This shotgun has beautifully styled polymer furniture that has a great feel similar to Houge. Butt stock has a built in recoil pad with an ergonomic pistol grip. Flat top receiver with a full weaver rail . Forearm has a great futuristic and ergonomic design with a quad rail molded in to the top as well as a light attachment molded in to the front of the fore end. Barrel is threaded for choke tubes and firearm comes complete 3 choke tubes and 2 all steel 5 round mags. Although these are brand new factory firearms, due to the factors listed below we are selling these As Is with No Returns Accepted.

Cheaper at KY Gun Co for me at $389.99 text a check price with free ship and no tax. I have always had good experiences with KY Gun Co and Classic, but they hit you pretty hard with shipping.

This is what it would cost me buying it from Classic.
Subtotal $349.99
Shipping Cost $24.82
Tax $20.62
Grand Total $395.43

Bought one of these a few months ago for closer to 5. It is a ridiculous fun gun to shoot. We blew some skeet with it, and targets up to 100 yards with a 3" slug. The most fun is with the dove loads to me. If you want a fun day at the range, bring out your old beer boxes and lay a 10 round mag in it. Panzer sells 10 rounders.

I have an AR12 (earlier version) and a MKA1919 Match. The 1919 is a lot better built than the AR12, it is night and day difference. With some sanding and polishing I was able to get the AR12 to cycle everything, the 1919 cycled everything right out of the box. I also have a Siaga 12, which tops them both, but is a bit heavier.

Will it cycle the rounds reliably??

No personal experience yet. I am buying this next week. I have watched quite a few videos and they seem to be a pretty damn good...bang...for the buck. They seem to prefer heavy brass bases off of reviews.

Is there a free S&H code for Classic Firearms?

Shipping shouldn’t be much since its mostly plastic. I’ve heard the chassis is made from old condoms, which is appropriate since anyone that buys this is getting fucked.

Note - This is the 3rd generation design of the AR-12 shotguns and are also being made by a different company in Turkey than the previous models. We are told by the importer that they have had some gas system improvements to make them even more reliable with a wide array of shell and charges. Any reviews as of 11/13/2017 associated with this ad will be referencing the previous generation of shotgun as well as any live fire video's you may see. The previous generation of these also had barrels threaded for and came supplied with choke tubes, however these did not. As such the original video shows choke tubes but please know that these Do Not Come With Choke Tubes Nor Will They Accept Them.

Not crazy about the polymer receiver, But the choke tubes is the real deal breaker for me.. not that I want to take this thing skeet shooting or anything but It would be nice to be able to put an improved cylinder choke on it.

That and the question of mags.. it comes with 5's but what about 10's and where do you get them?

That "silencer" is not really a silencer. It's actually made to resemble a silencer to confuse people, but it's actually a nuclear flame thrower. I have one on every long gun I have. It does come with the option to shoot grenades with just an extra click, right next to the quadruple ammo button. Very cool and only $19.99. one size fits all, from .22lr to .50bmg and 12 guage. Never lube this with gun oil. It only runs on melted snowflakes and liberal tears.

Word of warning-- Read the reviews on these Turkey produced rifles. they're not that positive. Second, source and price mags first. You may not like the price point your buying into.

It’s still a cheap piece of shit $350 Turkish shotgun. Of course it’s a 3rd edition, those companies don’t do much testing to see what works and what doesn’t. It’s a guaranteed piece of shit.

This is the new generation you will not find many reviews and mags are the same price as any other shotgun that requires them

Is it legal to sell it with a silencer on it like this already? wow.

I guess I should thank you for the chuckle. Silencer ... haha. Actually, it also doubles as the mid-mounting point for the chainsaw attachment, which is a cheap add-on that's very hard find, but not impossible if you look hard enough. If you ask around at your local gun shop, they could probably point you in the right direction.

It is a silencer mount. You can hang up to 6 pair of ear plugs from it.

Worth the risk.

Hey folks, I purchased this Firearm knowing the issues and expecting them. It was a bit of a risk purchase but to me the styling of the firearm is unique it was with the risk. Here is what I found during the breakin period. My weapon is the Gen 2 which is slightly different than the gen 1
- in the 100 round break in period I had 4 failure to feeds, I used only the mags that came with the shotgun no aftermarket. All of the failures were due to the edge of the shell getting caught in the bore. I was firing supremea 2 3/4 00 buck.
- the charging handle is undersized and difficult to rack without catching the skin of your hand in the receiver.
- the mag removal is a little rough and requires a push up then a pull down on the empty mag while depressing the mag release. This was really bad at first but after breaking in it got better slightly.
- the furniture is junk, cheap plastic and it will likely not last long
- the recoil was about what I expected due to the light weight of the shotgun but it is still rough
- after the breakin period I tried the mka 1919 ten round mags and they do not work well in the firearm out of the box, they will need some going over or they cause constant feed issues.

With all the issues I found and the ones others have found I still say this shotgun is worth the money, you must understand there is a breakin period and that this is not a SHTF weapon out of the box, it's more of a project piece, and for less than $400 there is a lot of room for customization and tinkering. I have plans to make this an amazing shotgun for 3 gun compititions but it's will take time and money.

After the break in period it runs much better but it does not like shells with soft ridged ends. The AR12 also shoots very fast and I had an absolute BLAST breaking it in.

No its different. The drive block is aluminum instead of steel and it doesn't have the gas regulator so it blasts full gas pressure cycling action right into that cheese grade aluminum block. I've got a few hundred rounds of target ammo though it and the blocks already mushroomed a bunch. It also won't extract hulls with ribbed plastic very well and has to be modified to extract ones that don't have a crisp rim. Also, trigger slap sucks and the trigger is stupid heavy. Tooth and nail armory mk1919 trigger kit fits but the gun isn't worth investing that much money into.

Is this the same thing as the MKA-1919 from a year or so back? Now they are just rebranded under a different name? I believe they were both AR style shot guns from Turkey. Or is this a different/lesser quality version? Are the MKA-1919s available at all anymore? It seemed like those had better reviews and had a similar price point. Maybe $100 more.

It is what it is, I might buy one if classic would take 5 to the table with test fires like they did with the 5.45x39. If not, I don't expect them to be a good seller.

Grab a gun will not take back guns. They tell you to contact the manufacturer.

If you are wanting one of these (I don't recommend it) Grab A Gun has it for only $6 more, and for whatever reason they don't have the "there is a chance this firearm won't work, but you have been warned, so do NOT send it back to us" disclaimer.

"Bottom line ...do not buy it. "

This line from the description isn't much better "In other words, if you buy it, and there are issues, we will not take it back or offer refunds and frankly I wouldn't expect much help from the manufacturer..... They are in Turkey for heavens sake so how is that suppose to work.... "
