Cerro Anodized 80 Percent Lower with Optional Safety Engraving
This Cerro-forged 80 percent lower is not an FFL item; classified by the ATF as a non-firearm. It's made from T6 heat-treated 7075 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish to protect against wear and tear and corrosion. Its magwells have been flared and broached, and all it needs is a machined trigger and safety well in order to be a fully functional, mil-spec lower receiver. This is a good price for a forged lower. There is a lot of "sold out" signs on sites these days. In for 5.
Amazing how the price of these went up 75% during tax season after a shooting.
Machine shops were selling them to us at cost for a while trying to stay afloat. Trust me, I don't like it either but they raised the price on us. Our margins are still the same. We make roughly $5 per lower.
Forgings are drying up as well. Machine shops are running out, so they have to turn a profit on the ones they still have.
I can see how it would be frustrating though.
Pardon my ignorance, but whats the point of an 80% lower when you can buy a stripped lower for maybe $10 more after the xfer fee? Ppl who can't pass bg checks or don't qualify to own a gun?
For me, it's not about saving money or hiding anything...I simply enjoy finishing the lowers. It's a satisfying project for people who enjoy that type of thing.
The lowest transfer fee in 50 miles is $50. Plus, I have to pay tax even if purchased out of state. Compare that to a one time charge for a jig and an 80% lower is saving money after three.
For that reason and for guys that are super paranoid that the gubment is coming for their guns. The milling on an 80% is too much work for me to save $10.

Really? And how are you going to get the safety selector, hammer pin, and trigger pin in? You're gonna need a jig and some reamers. Tolerances on those holes are tight.
I feel you do need the desire to build several 80% lowers to justify spending the money on the cost of the jig and tools. That being said, It's not super difficult. You just need a good Jig like an Easy Jig-Gen 2 AR-15/308 Multi Platform a router, drill and vise and the ability to follow a video and/or read instructions, time and desire for satisfaction in partially building a gun yourself without a 4473. I can buy Anderson lowers for around $40 with tax and no ffl fee but like 80%'s when I have time to mill them into finished stripped lowers.
Buy 4 for $40 plus it's Blem please do yourself a favor and edit unless you want me to leave negative rating I purchased two from you and I'm happy with the quality.
$70 for a blemished milspec 80%? I paid $42 each for 3 80s with no flaws and free shipping from Joe Bob's just 2 weeks ago. A reminder that y'all don't have to charge these high prices in the current climate. You're just greedy anti-American trash ripping of your fellow citizens.
