wow I know demand is high but limit 1? lets see toss in shipping, maybe tax, ffl transfer.. this is gonna be one expensive ass Anderson.

I know a lot of places are sold out but damn.

Bought mine last month. upon initial inspection I was thinking if I was going to have issues with anything it would attaching an upper do to the incomplete milling. Anderson is on the left and PSA is on the right. Just did the build last night. Mag release cutout was not milled properly. It's not deep enough. Will not catch mags and they just slide right out. Tried 2 diff mag releases. Multiple mags. Tried the mag releases in another receiver and worked without issue.

Great buy otherwise, but something to be aware of.

Tomorrow I get to contact primary arms and see what they say.

Your issue is likely an installation issue, you need to Press out on the mag release in order to screw the button in further on the screw, much further. try that before you try to return it.

Hit me back up if you need further detail

Wish that would have been the issue. Installation wasn't the issue. Same mag releases functioned without issue in another lower.

I bought mine through Primary Arms to build my first AR, works perfect.

These are currently sold out, but they do have the Anderson "no logo" model for $52.99. https://www.primaryarms.com/anderson-manufacturing-ghost-stripped-ar-lower-d2-k067-ag00...

Your FFL must charge more then mine does. I got 3 from primary for 28$ a piece. Ffl only charges me 20$ for all 3. Got all of them for pretty much a 100$. Couldn't pass it up.

For less than 3, not really worth it with shipping and then FFL fee.

Apparently the $29.99 price comes and goes, and you have to be there at the right time? I would have ordered 5 @ $30ea, even though I just got 3 from another vendor last week for $35ea.

Man, I'd order some in a heart bit of it wasn't for the FFL fee

How much is the FFL fee?

That's going to depend upon your FFL. Here behind the Granola Curtain, you can find a few FFLs who will charge a $35 xfer fee, more often $50, but most seem to hover around $75 to $100. That's just their charge; then there's the state "tax" on xfers, which I think is capped @ $25 [may still be $15, it's been awhile] which is their fee for running the Brady check. At least you can xfer up to 5 firearms on one 4473 [for now; the commie-symps in Sacto. are trying to limit long gun purchases to 1/mo just like they've done w/ handguns] so your out of pocket for 5 of these could be as low as $210 [30x5+35+25] or be as high as $275. Still a steal considering that less than 6 years ago a stripped receiver sold for $70/ea, if you could find them at all! This is truly the golden age of ARs: buy'em cheap & stack'em deep while you can! :-)

You guy's really overpay. My FFL charges 10$ per gun. He makes most of his business that way and the expensive ones here only charge 20$. You might want to shop around for an FFL who doesn't bend you over!

Its dead. Back to $49.99

dang... was this a 24 hour sale? I loaded it in my shopping cart, verified that I could pick up in store, and now the price is $49.99 now that I went to complete the order.

Limit ONE! Kinda forgot to mention that in the ad. Oh well

Who is the sucker? I bought them for 29.99 here just a couple months ago. Guess you were snoozing?

Shipping too high

I ordered 1 on Thursday at 10am and it was delivered to my Florida FFL today (Wednesday) at 2pm. So about six and a half days or so. Shipping was about $9, but it varies when you add additional items.

As a side note, I did call them Thursday evening to adjust my order a bit, and during that process he verified my FFL and said that would hasten my processing time. So... results may vary.

How much did they charge you for shipping?

Limit 1, after you add shipping it is far from a good price. No thanks

The ad says Limit 5, store page states Limit 1

Why bother?

1 vote

Really?. When I ordered 3 on Monday the site said limit 3 per household. My account says the order is still awaiting fulfillment.

I called my FFL yesterday to see if PA had contacted them for their ffl info. They said they hadn't heard anything.

Guess I'll call PA today and see what's up.

EDIT: Just called and found out I'm locked in for my 3!.. Grandfathered suckers! Snooze ya lose!

I would never buy a lower with a serial number on it

Then you're stuck buying 80% receivers & finishing them yourself. Not everyone shares your dedication...

Have built 6 rifles with these so far and not a single issue. Great lower especially for the price. Also, super LOL at the "my little pony" comment. And The 29.99 deal WAS on UNBLEMISHED lowers. It was just a 24 hour sale. I bought 4 of them and trust me, they were not blemished.

Must have missed that one. Great deal.

Can I have this item delivered to my front door?

Josh.. Come on. You know better than that.

Only lefty liberals think guns are delivered to the door.. FFL door yes.. Your door? no moron.

No need to get snippy; he may have thought they were unfinished 80% lowers at this price, not being aware you usually pay *more* for an 80% lower than a complete one that must xfer thru an FFL... Or he may have just crawled out from under a rock & been unaware of the laws regulating firearms xfers. You never know... ;-)

What happened to the $29 lowers..not a deal

Those were blems and are sold out. In case you've living in a cave there's been a lot of gun control talk lately. Most likely won't happen but you know how people get, we're bunch hoarders.

Build a few of these for yourself and get "WOKE" as the kids say these days...

See and feel EXACTLY why spending excessive money for boutique brand names like Noveske and others are such a waste of money. Especially for a stripped lower. While barrels and bcg's are another story, these are great lower recievers.

Sure, the "my little pony" roll mark is a little limp wristed but your target doesn't give a shit. Great product, great deal.

Hell, I just picked up 3 more myself.

Well said sir, The BCG, trigger , barrel and optic are what make the rifle.

Yep. The fanbois would have you believe your Anderson lower will crumble to dust. I've been using PSA (AP and LW rollmarks), and Anderson stripped lowers for years and more thousands of rounds than I care to remember. No parts falling off yet.

Shot over a 1000 rounds through my Anderson lower. there is tiny tiny amount of play between the upper and lower receiver but hell its my coyote gun does just fine.

I've had excellent success with Anderson's. By far the most under rated lowers in the gun world. Put 1000's round as well no probs.

Tried to give it 5 stars but it the website only would let me give it 2.5

Those of you that found my previous post to optimistic,

for suggesting a Anderson stripped lower to be out the door price for $30 in this current market when Trump is in office and we have been seeing the prices plummeting over the last year!

All said and done the $30 stripped lower for a lot of us would actually be closer to

$30 stripped lower
$7 ish shipping
$15 ish FFL fee = Approx $52 for an Anderson stripped lower

* I know you could buy more and save, but the FFL fee can be higher for a lot of us!

I DON'T have anything wrong with Anderson I own some, but for around $50 their a dime a dozen. I know in the future they'll be higher, BUT we're talking about the CURRENT MARKET!

As people have commented on you could go to their store and get them if local, of course one could save the shipping and FFL that way which would be a unbeatable deal! I just believe other stores should do that TOO!

If u in Houston area, u can still get this deal in store and no FFL fee. Just grabbed 3 coupon on 1/30

I see the same thing. Last night it was 29.99, now it's 39.99. I guess this deal has expired. Classic Firearms has them at 34.99

Buying more than 1 within 5 days is still considered “alert” to FBI right?

0 votes
0 votes

no, it doesn't apply to stripped lowers. only 2 pistols within a 5 day period, or 2 rifles if you live on a border state (texas, AZ etc)........and it's a form sent to the ATF, not FBI

I bought 5 ea 556 and 2ea 300aac blackout then went to cabellos and bought 2000 rounds. And a ssar15 bmod bumpstock, they haven't showed up yet? We don't live in a police state so stop acting like we do. SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. PERIOD
