Sales never answer customer's questions. What a "reliable" company?!

Very true. I placed an order on 7/8 and I have still not received any shipping info. I called and left a message, left a facebook message, and emailed to no avail.

Tim, do you have or plan on having any offerings in 7.62x39 AR15? I plan on building a couple AR's in this caliber. Thanks

What are you supposed to mount on the front rail? I noticed it isn't inline with the upper receiver and my magpul sight doesn't work. Any advice? A raiser?

That does not seem to be the exact same upper. It doesn't have a forward assist like this one listed.

Charged my cc 02/28 and today is 03/16. Was promised tracking # and that it would ship weekend. NO tracking, No upper, No squat. Crappy customer service. Tim, so whats the excuse now?

I ordered an upper from them a while back. Similar experience but it showed up after a while.

I ordered two of these uppers on two separate occasions. The first one shipped after about four days. Right after the second order I got orders to relocate and I gave Tim a call and asked what his estimate on shipping was. He gave me a reasonable estimate based on the number of orders he had and how long it takes to get through them. I told him my deadline and he assured me he'd ship it on time. I was a little worried, but he got it to me on time. Give him a call and explain your concern. He was very polite to me on the phone and for all he knew I was just some typical overly demanding customer pressuring him to work faster. He's not a large, established business with a multimillion dollar shipping system like Midway. He's a person trying to grow a business based on a hobby he loves. I'll be ordering from him again in the future.

Right at 2 weeks and still no tracking number. very little "help" from the emails. Typical no show customer service even though they charged my credit card instead of putting a hold on it and then charging and shipping.

Me too... will be 2 weeks this in 2 days and I have not received a response on facebook, phone call, or email. I even signed up on this website just to make sure people know the troubles I am having.

I did end up emailing Anderson and found that the barrel is, in fact, unlined. Other pieces of information that may or may not seem obvious but are not specifically listed even on their own website:

1- It's a 5.56, not just .223
2- Mag Phos finish on barrel
3- M4 feed ramps
4- Barrel is 4140 CroMo
5- Bolt carrier 8620, bolt 9310
6- Bolts are MPI'd
7- Charging handle is forged 7075
8- Upper is Hard Anodized MIL-A-8625F hard anodize black

Hope this helps.

Interesting that I can't find info ANYWHERE about the barrel and/or whether or not it's lined.

I saw these w/o BCG and CH for $230, and thought wasn't bad for a teaching AR (which if it malfunctions, you teach clearance drills). I doubt it's lined, but Green Mountain had a sale on their 16" CL M4 barrels for $99.

Pair it with a TNArms clear lower (show your friends how it works), and still inexpensive...
