If you have one of these and have FTF issues, I solved my problem... Turn the spring around in the mag(not upside-down). Solved my problem of loading a new round. The high point of the spring now pushes the back of the bullet up instead of the front. Hope this helps. It's a great gun now. Damn near movie quiet with my SS 22lr sparrow can ;)

TX22 seemed to be a better pistol at its typical $280. Of coarse finding TX22 at that price is tough in current market.

I own one of these and may buy another at this price and now that you can actually find .22 ammo again, although expensive as hell... Like others have said this is a perfect training pistol and just a hoot to shoot at the range or up on the mountain. Plinking is a pleasure and this pistol really helps you keep your fundamentals fresh and polished. Trigger control, breathing, reload drills, FTF drills, accuracy, and moving while shooting is all good practice with this pistol. Its also great for teaching new shooters. If you use the correct ammo with the correct spring, keep it clean and not over lube this gun you will have very little issues if at all. Because almost all bulk .22 ammo is inherently bad with specs and quality control on occasion you may get a bad round or two. It is not the gun, its the ammo and in my mind its good because it helps with failure drills. If your in a situation where you cannot or do not want that occasional bad round, buy very good, premium, high velocity hunting ammo and you shouldnt have any issues. I like many chose to polish the feed ramp and went thru and polished up any other leftover machining marks as well. Mostly just because Im finicky and bored.. lol.
Slap a suppressor on this and you will be in plinking bliss! haha.
The last piece of advice is do not go heavy on the wet lube with this gun. It gums up quickly and will plug up the gas system resulting in stovepipes or hung spent casings. I prefer a dry graphite lube in all my .22 firearms. And lastly these get better with use. 500 rounds and you will see and feel the difference, especially with the trigger operation and smoothness. I would jump on this deal if your in the market!

I just wrote a detailed comment, accidentally scrolled up, scrolled back down & it had vanished so in a nut shell.
1) This is THE EXACT SAME GUN AS THE SIG SAUER MOSQUITO!
2) If you don't have @ least 2 of these buy it now!
3) READ THE FRICK'N MANUAL!!!
4) Ships with the Heavy Duty Spring installed = READ THE DANG FIREARM MANUAL that comes in the box.
5) The HEAVY DUTY SPRING REQUIRES High Velocity 22LR Ammo like CCI Mini-Mags Copper Plated 40grain Round Nose bullets!
6) The SPRING can be changed to reliably shoot standard velocity ammo - READ THE MANUAL!
7) This is one of the best training pistols in the world!!!
8) Would you blame BMW for a very rough running brand new car when you screwed up & filled the tank with Regular 87 Octane when THE CAR MANUAL SAYS 92+ Octane Gas Only???
9) BUY BUY BUY - ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY 2 FIREFLY'S!!!
10) READ THE GOSH DARN MANUAL & DON'T BE AN IGNORAMUS!!! Use the right spring / setting with the right ammo.
11) The Trigger is a training trigger as is the entire gun & all the features & controls.
12) See the YT Channel Weapons Education for a good review of why this is an excellent Range / Training Pistol.

Anyone happy with the trigger on these ?
I just bought 2 took them out to the Range and the triggers on both were not worth near $200 bucks each

I've fired the Sig Mosquito, maybe 50-100 rounds. Was a fun gun and ran great, but the pricepoint for a .22lr pistol just was not there for me.

Really need to get one of these Fireflys as they're the same thing, but very reasonably priced.

I got two of them, and all I had to do is polish the feed ramp and problem solved.
I really like them. Mines are sig mosquito tho, same gun, same manufacturer different name that’s all

I've heard this thing is a jam-o-matic if you're not using CCI Mini-Mags. Anyone have one that can comment?

@pew_pew... Honestly it's a little picky like most 22s. CCI Mini Mags work great. So does Browning Performance Rimfire and CCI Velocitor. Stingers sometimes FTE. At the perfect combination of reliability and cost... Remington Thunderbolt has run 100% great and can commonly be found at or under 5 cents a round.

Sig no longer makes the Mosguito because of so many problems with them. GSG made the gun for Sig. Based on the reviews of the Firefly GSG may have ironed out the problems with the gun. We'll see.
