Sorry you have to pay sales tax. I live in Oregon with no sales tax. I also get the 20% off gift cards. I will wait for black friday sale

That's awesome. I never knew the whole state doesn't have sales tax! Once Cabela's moved to Ohio, everything I buy there went up 6.5%. The real bummer is the store is hundreds of miles away so I don't even go there!

My ammo arrived today. Good clean looking ammo. Some mentioned the rounds arriving dirty.

Where are you in Ohio that Cabelas is hundreds of miles away? One went up in Columbus a few years ago (probably worst Cabelas I've been in) and there is one in Cincinnati (I work there as a vendor occasionally)

I'm 127 miles away in Canton.

I already bought and sent in my upc's for 1k rounds. Can I buy another 1k and still get the rebate?

The rebates need to be instant. Am I suppose to cut the UPC from 25 boxes and send them in?

Yes

Mail in rebates are just plain sketchy. No thanks

Then don't even send it in...and it's still $190 delivered! That alone is a great price for 1k brass 9mm. I'd give the rebate a try though...

I did the 45acp earlier and plan to grab this too!

EDIT: grabbed this 1k tonight. Up next? Maybe 1k of 223!?
You can basically get four cases of ammo in any caliber for $25% off!
Federal must have a warehouse full of ammo!!!

223 ammo is a different rebate system and up to $400. Handgun is $200.

On here it says $50 max rebate per household, but on the American Eagle rebate form it says max $200 per household. Anyone know why or which is correct?

man that is news to me, Did they expand the rebate.. again?
I gotta be honest the rebate's coming from federal keep changing so much Im honest to god gettin scared to deal with them.. the forms conunterdict them selves too much.

If I get time I'll call them tomorrow and ask I been meaning to call them anyway about their 223/556 rebate anyway.

Never seen a rebate ran like this.. it's so murky.

EDIT: Just checked the PDF, looks like they extended it.. the PDF even has extended in the name.
Looks like 200 is the new limit instead of 50.. but I didn't see where they allow for more than 1 submission unlike the rifle rebate that allows 2.. so those of us who already submitted a rebate probably can't submit a 2nd rebate even though we're well under the 200 dollar limit now.

Federal really does not know how to run a rebate that much is apparent.

Thanks. I bought from 2 different sellers. Can I get the rebate for both of them from one form? Should I mail them all in 1 package or 2 different packages?

I can tell you one thing, after the last rebate I did I regret the hell out of not using throwaway email. Literally a hundred spams a day now. If my manhood would grow just a millimeter for each of those ads alone I have gotten since it would reach from here in Kansas to Kommiifornia and halfway back, and be as wide as Kansas. And dates, Whole countries have messaged me about wanting that said manhood..... Apparently they haven't considered how large it would be now......

A heads up to anyone who has ordered in the past few days, Brownells is overcharging after you place your order. I bought 1k at $199.99, $27 in other misc. items and used a $20 off coupon for a total of $207 and was actually and was charged $60 more on my credit card than the actual total. My first order confirmation email showed the correct amount. When I looked at the second order email Brownells sent me, I noticed they charged me $259.99 for the 1k 9mm. I called to ask them what the deal was and they indicated it was a problem with many orders and they were working to fix it, however they never bothered to notify anyone of the error which makes me suspicious. Check your statements!

Thanks for the heads up! I ordered on 9/17 and the price was correct on my credit card.

I called the customer service number listed on the rebate. Spoke with "Amy" and asked whether I needed to submit each 50rd box UPC or whether (when purchasing a case of 1k) the cardboard box UPC would work. She said the cardboard UPC works just fine. I had the phone call recorded (check your state laws first!) and can provide it upon request should Federal come back and deny my rebate.

I wouldn't recommend anyone else try this. The rebate form clearly says it's for 50 and 100 round boxes. I doubt that Amy will be in charge of approving/denying the rebates, so that person won't know that you had that conversation. Even with a recording, the effort fighting with Federal over being denied the rebate will probably be more than the effort of cutting off 10 or 20 UPCs. Might work because it looks like Federal is doing the rebates in-house, but I wouldn't chance it.

Check cleared. Case UPC works as previously stated.

Those who have made contact about the rebate, are you using the phone number or does someone have a email address to ask questions?
I'd rather have email so I can get it in writing.

Looks like they up their price a bit lol. Got mine a couple days ago, pulled a couple boxes out, a bit dirty appearance but over all looks good. Haven't test them out yet. I mean if goes bang and I got rebate,it's all good with $6.50/box.

Good price on the 9mm AE ammo, but man is this stuff dirty! After shooting 100 rounds through my Ruger SR9c, the gun needed a serious cleaning to remove all of the filth. Shoots great, but very dirty.

Does HL7 still work?

You guys are thinking too hard. The $20 discount is NOT applied to the ammo when purchasing from Brownells. If I order another item, why can't the discount be applied to that other item? $20 discount from brownell has nothing to do with the price of the ammo. The itemized price is 199.99. THAT'S what i am putting. Brownell coupon is not specifically for the ammo!!! Just make sure you clip all 20 UPC codes.

Maybe not. Spending another $20 to get $5 additional rebate is still costing you more in the end.

Has anyone submitted for a total rebate of more than $50 per household? I already submitted a rebate for 500rd that I bought elsewhere. Can I purchase this and submit another rebate? I can't have a family member buy it as I live in Illinois and need a FOID card to purchase ammo.

how are you guys enterting the "price paid" for the ammo? $199.99? or $179.99 minus the discount? basically how are they handling the $20 discount for the rebate?

0 votes

Reading through comments one OP said he called the rebate center. They told him the total needs to be less the coupon. Bummer because I would have added another box to receive the full $50. I'm putting the 179.99 on the form.

Received mine. Paid $184.00 for 1,000 rounds and Lucas extreme. Cut upc from 10 boxes of 100 rounds and put a piece of clear tape over cut out Entered the upc online and it confirmed $50 rebate. Dropped in the mail this morning. Easy!

Not getting the $180 shipped after the filler and H7L code? Showing $210.95.

$20 off $200 was only for 9/17.

H7L is still working.. you just have to go to the very end for it to apply properly. I just ordered a case + a safety selector detent for an AR (always losing those) and it came to $181.54 shipped.

Scotrod is exactly correct. I received my 1000rd case today and went online to complete the rebate form. Enter the SKU from the individual 100rd boxes and the purchase price and your rebate amount comes right up. To get my total to $200 I just went to Brownell's sale section and looked at the cheapest thing they had. I added a buffer detent spring for .49.

The rebate rules say $5 per qualifying product. That sounds like to me, that means $5 off a case, not the full 25%.

0 votes
0 votes

SKU's are often misunderstood,,,,,
The physical SKU for the case (located on the outside of the cardboard shipping case) is not eligible for this promotion.
The physical SKU's off each individual ammo box contained inside the cardboard shipping case ARE eligible.
Turn in the SKU from the cardboard shipping case, and you get nothing.
Turn in the SKU off of each box inside the case, and you get 25% off the purchase price listed on your receipt.
Hope this helps.
