This thing looks so abstract that I would probably shoulder it backwards and shoot myself in the shoulder in the process. LOL
Not to throw dirt on this stock, but after hours of research I went with the HTA 90/22 stock and it is incredibly high quality compared to feedback on this one. So at least take a good look at the HTA!
Thanks for the rec, but not spending more than the *rifle* costs on a stock of marginal utility from either one. Yes, it looks all zoomy but unless you've got one of the [very rare] xferable f/a 10/22 conversions, what's the point?
Is it classified as a sexual assault rifle?
Tried and can't get the deal price of $223.99 even with the membership plus they want $20 for shipping....
Any tips how to get the above price?

"And a zombie's worst nightmare."...yea, we know how much Zombies HATE 22 bullets ;)
I went through that phase of buying 22lr weapons that looked cool. Now I struggle to get rid of the shit. Will have to wait for the zombies before I can find buyers of my horrible purchases. My 7 year old likes the 22 =)
Hey man I'm currently going through that phase now, I'll take some off your hands.
Talk to me. I have always had some weird affection for .22s
Great little stock! Requires a bit of fine tuning to smooth out the rough edges (literally), but plenty of fun once everything is dialed in.
For that price, it had better be *flawless*, with all rough edges pre-chamfered & polished! Otherwise, I can buy an airsoft & roll my own for half the price...
I picked one up from SG for $259 and im very happy with it, now. The rifle looks absolutely awesome and it shoots nice. Now a word of advice for anyone thinking of picking this up, make sure you polish the trigger bar to a mirror slick finish. I also cut a couple rings off the trigger bar return spring and that plus the trigger bar job and more graphite lubricant, took the trigger back down to about 5lbs. Also do not tighten the screws too much or the action will bind. Seems like a lot of work for what you pay which basically amounts to the price of a new Ruger 10/22, but i can assure you once you get this thing running you will be very happy.
When did Red Jacket stop producing these?
I think this was designed by Joe Meaux, who was on the SoG show. After the shitshow with RJF, he started up Aklys. Some reading:

Is Red Jacket the same company who's owner was raping underage girls? And his daughter?
The story is kind of muddy. On the show it was portrayed that Will Hayden was the owner. I'm not actually sure how the company was structured but I think the person with the FFL was Joe Meaux, who started Aklys.
Anyway, I have a similar product to this, the Hightower Armory 90/22. If the Aklys gets any more cheaper, I might have to buy it as well :P
do you have to use 18.5" barrel? what does it do if you have 16.5
It causes ugly BATFE agents dressed like Ninjas to show up at your door at 3am, punch your preggers wife in the belly and stomp on your kitten. And oh by the way, haul you off for a nice "vacation" at Club Fed. Just don't do it! =8-o
Anything shorter than 18.5" would make it an SBR (short barreled rifle) because of OAL (overall length) - not recommended without going through the legal hoops. Stay legal.
I wonder if you can still use the binary trigger with this anyone know?
