This furniture looked familiar. I had also seen the "Polish Mil-spec" pitch somewhere before... I also remember North Carolina being involved... Then it hit me... I.O.

Polish "STYLE" wood furniture. made in North Carolina.

This thing stinks like IO.
GorillaP, Ramzi Kheireddine left IO quite a while ago (according to their posts on AKFiles, he left because he became frustrated with IO overruling his decisions when he tried to increase quality control) and founded Riley Defense with his brother.
Honestly, it could be bogus ofcourse, but I think when I save up my pennies I'm gonna give these guys a shot. They seemed to really want to put out a decent AK for the money, and I know for a fact that cast metal CAN in fact be strong as hell if it's done correctly.
However I haven't handled one of their guns and it very well could just be another junky US made AK. I hope they weren't bsing.
