Just bought one, delivered yesterday, and got back from the range with it today. This is a great gun. I like the trigger better than the Scorpion, feed through all my Beretta mags without a problem (aftermarket mags had a couple feed issues), accurate right out of the box, and felt recoil like a .22. Perfect sub gun for home defense (9mm) since it is much quieter than 556 or 7.62 and 0 felt recoil. Garnered tons of attention at the range. All around fun gun and a great buy!

Bought this and it's pretty neat build. put a folding sig brace & it looks like a subgun. I showed a type 7 ffl sot i know and he's going to make a SBR full auto one. wish they made it in 45acp too.

I actually sold my cz scorpion evo & enjoy shooting the PAK9 much more. its got a way better trigger than the cz right out of the box, doesn't use proprietary mags, and has a familiar manual of arms other than the mag release. I added a yugo grip so it feels like my other AKs, you are not limited to platform specific parts like the with the evo and I have seen pics from circle 10 for a suomi drum conversion... so there is some aftermarket support even though the PAK9 has only been imported since August 2016.

I was on the fence about buying one of these as this is a really cheap price for a SMG like pistol but decided on a CZ Scorpion instead. Obviously not the same price range but I feLtd the CZ would have a much longer support life, aftermarket items, and was designed around real world use. Also, cheap, reliable factory high capacity mags which aren't 2 feet long didn't hurt either.

Nice thats the same boat I was in. Its a novelty ak at best. While the whole 9mm ak is interesting , in real world scenerios its not a proven platform. I might still buy one to have in the collection but still feel the scorpion or even an ar-9 would be a better fit.

I wouldn't mind one of these at all but I said to myself "400 dollars for a range toy or 700 dollars for a gun?" I generally take the cheap route but I also felt I would pour money into this trying to turn this into something it isn't. Regarding an AR pistol: They still have a weak side in my book for the single stacked magazines and the buffer tube. If one day they ever get rid of the SBR laws that tube will still be there and those mags will never get more reliable.
