The Aimpoint® Micro T-2 redefines everything you thought you knew about compact red dot sights. Cutting edge lens coatings radically improve the shape and clarity of the 2 MOA red dot and physical protection has been added for even more ruggedness.

We listened to feedback coming from hard-core customers desiring an even more hard core Micro sight. With a redesigned and reinforced house body, as well as flip-up covers protecting the lenses, the Aimpoint® Micro T-2 can withstand all types of environmental conditions.

At the same time, we decided to improve upon the optical performance of the sight which results in a new lens and an important breakthrough in reflective lens coatings. This makes the Micro T-2 and the 3XMag magnifier a fantastic optical combination.

Complete and Ready to Mount:
The standard configuration of the Aimpoint® Micro T-2 comes with Integral Picatinny-style base, allows easy attachment to any rail.

So the only three votes thus far are thumbs downs - two of them saying this is not a deal and one saying it is a bad product.

Umm, bad product? The top-tier Aimpoint Micro? It's the long awaited follow on to the vaunted T-1 and has superior glass, a crisper dot that magnifies better, a more rugged enclosure, built-in flip caps, and longer battery life. Yeah, bad product. Move along sparky. You have no idea what you are talking about.

And not a deal? Well, one could argue that paying over $600 for a red dot is ridiculous, but many people are buying these for $761. i.e., $125 more than this price. That price is often for the model with the standard mount - just like this unit. LaRue swaps out the standard mount for their mount, but that is for $125 MORE than this price.

At this price you can afford to ignore the LaRue package deal. You can then use a mount that you already own ($0), stick with the standard Aimpoint mount ($0), add a riser ($35), or buy an ADM or DD mount ($80). Even better, you can buy a Bobro QD mount for $119 SHIPPED from Primary Arms' eBay store...and still come in less expensive than the LaRue package deal.

Is this a shellshocker deal? No, but it is a deal...and it is an excellent product.

On the other hand, if you think $600 is a lot to spend on a red dot, I would definitely agree, but you have to judge this deal against historical prices for the same product.

Ouch! Looks like I'm going to have to go the eotech route for this new build!

Don't worry, you can spend that much on an Eotech too. You can also get an Aimpoint PRO for around $375 if you wait for a deal. This is the latest and greatest, so you pay your money and you get your toy. The T1's should be selling even cheaper than they are now.

You're not crazy, this is the 'new' T"2" micro. Price is higher than the T1.
