Does it come with a mount? Description on site doesn't really say.. Listed as: "Mounting: One ring, 30mm or Aimpoint QR"... pretty sure that means it doesn't which makes this deal a little limp. Maybe you've got a spare mount around, If not, you're gonna spend the money regardless, unless your plan is mounting a $500 red dot on some commie shit device. Sounds ridiculous but I'm sure there's a few who'd try it...

For the rest of us, might as well buy from Larue if it doesn't. The LT150 is about $160 on it's own or you can buy the package for $636. Plus you get all the freebies and the quality service that Larue is known for.

Buy Once Cry Once. It's Rule #1 in optics as quality remains long after the expense is forgotten. Most guys will be on their 4th or 5th Strike Fire before just one of my Aimpoints 50,000 hour battery dies out... and it'll still be holding zero too.

Not sure if they are packaging them differently now, but the same SKU on the CompML3 that I got a few years back did not come with a mount. I use BoBros on all my aimpoints so that is not an issue, but it is something to keep in mind.

On the other hand, you can get into a Aimpoint PRO with a QPR2 mount for a bit over $350 when one of the random sales is up (and I wouldn't be surprised to see one over this 4th of July weekend). I have several PROs and there is little functional different between the PRO and the ML3 (a PRO is essentially a slightly update CompM2). Again, I use BoBro mounts on those as well so the included mount is a non-issue, but it is 'Okay'.

Again, the ML3 is a great RDS and I love mine, but you 'can' save a bit of change and still get an Aimpoint with a decent mount for a bit over $350'ish on a good sale. Keep your eyes out on gun.deals, they come up quite a bit.
