It's a lower. It feeds bullets and holds my stock and upper just like the $400 stripped lowers yall buy. It's mil-Spec. It allows me to shoot bullets like any other lower ever built at any price range. If I needed any more lowers I would buy another.

I got one of these Anderson lowers from another vendor 2 weeks ago. If you want a basic forged lower, this Anderson looks and feels like a really high quality unit. The finish and machine work is flawless. For this rifle I used the DPMS slick side that I bought a few months ago when everything was hard to get. Together they have the most flawless fit I have seen between 2 receivers... 0% play or wobble, nearly 0 light shows through, but yet it's still not difficult to insert the takedown pins. It's like they were meant for one another.

The anodizing finish is not as matte as most receivers. It has a little sheen to it, much like my sig m400 receivers. Seems like a superior finish to me, although it may not match 100% with whatever upper you use. My DPMS slick upper looks like a bastard on any lower so I didn't care.

If I had to complain about it, there's only one thing.... They could make all the engraving look a little more stylish... Less text, better font, smaller size. That's really the only thing I can come up with.
