The Aero Precision M5 .308 Stripped Upper receiver is designed to be compatible with DPMS high profile handguards with a .210” tang as well as standard AR-10 components. All you need to complete this stripped AR-308 upper receiver is a .308 dust cover and forward assist. The M5 stripped upper is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and has a durable Cerakote FDE finish applied for added protection from corrosion. When combined with the Aero Precision M5 lower, you have a rock-solid frame to build the rest of your big bore rifle.
